He has respect as a president, but thats it.

I haven't read the 350+ posts. I realize the OP didn't say why she thinks he deserves respect. CarlB oozed hatred and childrish vitriol but he never said why President Obama deserves respect either. I can't think of a single reason. He obviously has no respect for our country or our citizens so why in the world should we respect him?

 

I can only guess she demands respect for Obama simply because he has a "D" at the end of his name

I would love to see how much "respect" she showed Pres Bush over his 8 years

Anyone who grew up in the USA when a president got assassinated, a senator got assassinated and when civil rights leader was murdered, knows better than to wish for the death of anyone, let alone a public figure.

It's a disgrace to wish for the death of anyone in pubic, in these days and times.

There are nutz out there and look at poor Gabby Giffords.

Would have supported or oppsoed the bombing of Germany and Japan in WWII as not to harm civilians?

 

I would hope that everything that was done in those horrible days when the war was almost over, was done because there was a (*)(*)(*)(*) good reason to do so.

Japan was given plenty of time to surrender and it's people would not have been destroyed with nukes.

Germany had time to surrender also. The USA had to fire bomb......to get those intransigent Germans to SURRENDER.

April 30 Hitler suicided. The war didn't end until on or before 5 May, I think.
