So the onus is on you to provide evidence FOR a super natural creator. Show me verifiable evidence of this creator.

Not really. You are the one who is cought in a whirlpool of scientific declarations with only a modicum of eveidence that is stated as irrefutable and unasailable, not me. Darwin said there was variations in species and the ability to adapt to an environment, thats real science. Other scientists saying that over billions of years that variability produces new species and then believeing that, is faith. Not science.

 

Which is exactly why the whole notion of being an atheist is self-contradictory.

Of course evolution is a scientific theory, I don't think any scientist would say otherwise. I don't think it is taught otherwise. All scientific theory is constructed to explain observed facts. If anyone can come up with a theory which better explains observed fact that theory will replace the old theory.

Evolution is a pretty well established theory. In my opinion there is about as much evidence for evolution as there is for relativity.

I guess us americans don't have to stay up to date on science but if we don't we shouldn't be surprised when other countries get ahead of us.

 

When the almighty God shows his face (if he has one), I'll start believing in God.

 

I believe Bill Maher made a similar proclamation.

PS: The evidence for Evolution is iron-clad and there is an abundance for it. Just because you cannot comprehend the evidence, is not my problem.

 

They create a substructure of science with pronouncements about finding a bone in the desert and saying it is a this or that and that it was a transformational form of one kind or another and calling that assertion proof that evolution is that cause of it, without providing any real proof other than saying it is so. Its a believe system, not a scientific system.
