But those are the groups (transsexuals and gays) that have seized political power as if it were a pair of testes and squeezed real hard! Nothing will every happen in SF if it doesn't suit and please the Gay Mafia here.
You really have no clue about San Francisco do you? Nothing but homophobic condemnation..... Please stay away. Think of our children.
Well frankly considering how ignorant they are about everything else....they probably think they can get pregnant from sitting on a toilet seat. But I sincerely suggest that all of the homophobes and bigots avoid our fair city. You will spend your time outraged by all of the people of different colors, the invasion of foreign ideas and (yummy) foods, and the horrors of seeing people in love- men and women. For the sake of our children....please stay away.
My daughter lives there. I went to college there. I have lived my entire life practically just outside the city. If you think that the gay community does not get their way you are hopelessly ignorant of the situation or lying, and there is a reason why San Francisco is losing it's families and children at an alarming rate. But please keep up the game. It's entertaining.
Oh I think that the gay community- and the Asian community- often 'get their way'- that is what organized communities often attempt to do. San Francisco is losing its families for the very reason cited in the article- the cost of living. Meanwhile, though, thousands and thousands of us raise healthy good kids in San Francisco. Like I said- you really don't have a clue.
Don't worry, you heterophobes can have your AIDS infested city. Like I said earlier, the only good thing going for SF are the pretty fires the town makes when a earthquake hits. It makes for good entertainment watching GOD smite your heathen city.
You most certainly can contract HIV/AIDS from contact with the bodily fluids of an infected person, which also most definitely CAN be deposited on a seat, by a naked arse, not to mention e-coli, typhoid, and a myriad of other diseases,as well. Perhaps you should research some fluid-borne pathogen pathology..
If youn are seriously claiming that the disease(s) of the naked arse of an HIV/AIDS infected individual cannot be left on, and passed on, from a seat occupied by said naked arse, it isn't anyone's "ignorance" but your own. HIV/AIDS is only ONE of the myriad pathogesn that can be spread in this manner; why do you suppose IT'S THE LAW FOR RESTAURANT EMPLOYEES TO WASH THEIR HANDS AFTER USING THE BATHROOM? Ever heard of e-coli? The fact that I actually have to speel this out draws a glaring spotlight to YOUR IGNORANCE about contagious , fluid-borne pathogens, no surprise you're from San Francisco, where the entire city council shares your ignorance...
Then you should avoid any densely populated area such as a city because it is likely riddled with potential biohazards.
I've been to San Francisco. I didn't feel threatened or anxious about gays and AIDS. I think it's crazy to think that way. I saw scores of beautiful women in San Francisco. The seafood was incredible. Best steak I ever had, too. And the sports teams are totally legitimate. You're certainly right about San Fran trying to export its politics (I find it abominable), but the city is cool.
Both sides are to blame. Nancy Pelosi is the de facto representative of San Francisco, so I can understand why ignorant people hate it. She's a despot.
I will readily admit that San Fran politics are largely a joke, and a cruel one at that, but as a native of the area, you have to admit the city has its good qualities. It's the same with Chicago. The politics are totally screwed, but the city is still world class. The problem arises when they try to export their policies to the Federal government. That's where the ire comes from...
By your strict standards, any surface in a major city is a potential biohazard teeming with deadly bacteria. Do you wear latex gloves when you visit urban areas?
I visited San Francisco in 2010 and fell in love with it. Perfect weather. Interesting characters. Beautiful scenery. I'm moving there first chance I get. I'm currently job hunting there. So if anyone there needs a Jr. Software Programmer/engineer let me know.
I'm not a suburb kinda guy. I like the city life. I like everything being in walking or cycling distance. Maybe if I decide to settle down with a family I'll live in the suburbs. But I crave action and excitement that only living near downtown can offer.
Live in San Francisco. For a young man it will be like a dream. Look for a job with an electronics company in the East Bay or South Bay. Good luck to you.
1 year of part time ASP.NET MVC development and I'll be finishing my bachelor's at the end of next month.
Thanks for admitting who runs the city, to a very large degree. Is San Francisco more expensive to live in than New York? (it isn't, of course) Because you don't see the exodus of families from NY the way you've seen it in San Francisco. The cost of living is just one factor. Bigger factors would probably include the horrifically bad schools there (30% of SF kids are in private schools, an amazing number) and the rampant street violence. SF just does not value or care about families and there wouldn't be an alarming exit of families if this were not so. Who really doesn't get it?
Nor do I. Nor does my daughter or her fiance. Yeah...well, ummm SF still has much going for it. But the city has been run into the ground by one liberal administration after another thinking that they can endlessly exploit the golden goose. They can't.
SF public schools are EXCELLENT! SF has lots of kids in private schools because a LOT of families who live in SF are WEALTHY!
Can you prove your claim in any way? It would seem not. These parents would pull their kids out of "excellent" high schools just so they can spend the extra money it takes to put them into private high schools?............................... Yeah, that makes sense (not).
