People who join motorcycle gangs most likely rode motorcycles or even bicycles before they joined.

does that mean riding bikes leads to gang affiliation?

    correlation is not causation.

most people who want to do hard drugs also smoke pot?

that does not mean everyone who smokes pot will also do hard drugs, get it?

#1 I am on a mobile device with a browser incapable of copy/paste

#2 why do you refuse to go look it up?

its only a couple mouse clicks and keystrokes away.

if you have any scientific integrity you will look on your own.

it is your choice, but dont get upset when i call you out for lack of integrity if you dont.

It's not worth trying to have a serious and intelligent discussion with you. Think what you want. We have enough problems with alcohol addiction in this country without the need to compound our addiction problems by legalizing a gateway drug like marijuana.

Alcohol destroys the liver and the digestive systems.

Drugs like Pot destroy the thought process and the brain..it's worse.

You can live along time drinking alcohol as long as you don't abuse it. I drink beer, hardly alcohol.

If you can't support what you say with proof then what you say is at least suspect as to accuracy. And insulting my integrity doesn't help your credibility.

You haven't supported what you've claimed with source links thererfore I have my doubts about the accuracy of what you say.

Pot will be legal eventually. But i really don't want it to be. It makes women sluts and we have enough of that. Alcohol does too. Oh well.

Frankly I have no objection to marijuana use for legitimate medicinal purposes. But I agree with you that legalizing marijuana will lead to negative social consequences.

the very slight effects that pot has on IQ are only temporary, pot in no way destroys your brain.

alcohol also very much temporarly lowers your IQ.

liver scarring and organ damage are perminent, the effects of pot on the brain are not, you would better argue lung damage.

you can live a long time smoking pot too as long as you dont abuse it.

no one has EVER died from cannabis overdose, lots of people die from alcohol overdose.

Apparently your definition of "all of the time" is "temporary."

It isn't really a biased source either. However, pro-marijuana researchers aren't exactly unbiased sources either. See how you don't get too far attacking sources? It exposes your own bias.

Apparently youre high or something because you cannot comprehend that it is possible NOT to smoke every day.

if you smoke pot every day that is not temporary use.

Im sorry but you appear to be an ignoramous like most anti-pot people.

Then feel free to disprove what they've stated.

I didnt link any bias sources or any at all.

currently the government's policy is anti-pot

i can hardly think of a more bias source.

besides, the .gov link supports my argument, bias or not.

Just as it's equally possible to smoke marijuana every day.

I never said that it was. It was you who inferred that smoking marijuana has virtually no side effects and I've proven you wrong.

Again with the stupid insult. As for being anti-marijuana I favor legalizing marijuana for legitimate medicinal purposes.

The pro-cannabis sources out there are from scientists with the intention of proving marijuana isn't harmful..... There is contradictory sources out there. Some saying it's harmful, others claiming it's harmless. But in my own personal experiences and from watching others I'd have to say it is not as harmless as people claim.

You haven't offered anything that supports your opinion. I have supported my opinion with fact.

It's more than possible. The truth is, psychologically, Marijuana is extremely addictive, or habit-forming at the very least. It is not usual that I have found cannabis users who only occasionally do it. Either they smoke every day or not at all, generally.

I seen some bizarre behavior on the part of patients brought to my ED who had used marijuana in conjunction with even minor amounts of alcohol.

And for users who don't act crazy with it, it lowers their potential. Even if they managed to achieve some sort of graduate degree, you'll find that they still could have gone much farther or performed better. It's just a fact that all cannabis users, when being honest, will tell you.
