This story is written from a political view...

    http://www.wnd.com/2012/09/secret-retirement-plans-does-obama-expect-to-lose/

My question is different. Most folk can finance and buy a home 5-10 times their annual income. The traditional ratio before the crash was closer to 3-5 times. Obama made about $750K last year. The ratio here is a good 40 to 1...Is he putting a vast amount down or is his money coming from his buddies unknown?

yesterday's rumor was $40 million dollars- is the price of real estate in Hawaii dropping $5 million dollars a day?

    Now that would be news!

Maybe this is a guilt shrine in honor of his grandmother he had whacked mere days before the election, lest she, in the throes of senility, accidentally expose his Kenyan origination.

I have no idea what it is worth, but it seems to be a tad more than the normal fellow making 3/4 of a million a year could hope to buy.

Yep- between that and it being a 'story' on WND, it sure doesn't pass the smell test.

I could be wrong- but I bet that this turns out to be just another WND rumor/lie that its fan's slurp up.

Maybe it's based on estimated future earnings. If Obama looses the election he'll get a pay raise as an ex-president doing speaking tours.

The man gave away 94 % of $787 billion US dollars to political campaign donors. Even among the Sudanese, there would still be a few million dollars available for collection. It is probably quite a but higher in the USA.

Obysmals brother better watch out..someone might "accidentally" set his spacious cardboard box home on fire the night before the next election. Killing him in the blaze. Then Obummer can lament how we Americans failed his brother and that voting him for a 2nd term will make sure ALL of the worlds homeless will have flame retardant cardboard box homes!! Then the dumb liberals will praise O'stupid till the cows come home

he's counting on the great rate he's getting from Chase and speaking fees after he "retires".

why would Chase care about the rate? they're just going to sell it off the note and if Obama gets re-elected, inflation will make the average house cost $40M.

If I am not mistaken, President and Mrs Reagan had friends who bought their home for them.

Post 13, brothers and sisters. I am not making this stuff up. This is fact. 94 % of the "Stimulus bill" was repayment to campaign donors. If this doesn't strike you as Kenyan (NOT KEYNESIAN)), you are a FN RETARD.
