Did you actually look at the fate of the stimulus dollars? How can this be allowed on this forum? Blatant lies should not be associated with SFJEFF.

Dems dont buy their own home. Just like Hilary was able to turn $1,000 into $6,300 overnight and into $100,000 in 12 months, despite never having done anything in futures trading or cattle, Dems get others to pay for them.

When Hilary Clinton moved to NY (so she could run for the Senate in NY), this is how they financed it http://www.nytimes.com/1999/09/04/nyregion/financial-engineering-in-the-clinton-house-deal.html:

Financial Engineering in the Clinton House Deal

    By ROBERT D. HERSHEY Jr
    Published: September 04, 1999

The package that the cash-strapped First Family will use to buy a $1.7 million house in Chappaqua, N.Y., is a clever and unusual piece of financial engineering designed to avoid tax and other pitfalls, real estate and financial specialists said today.

The deal calls for Terry McAuliffe, President Clinton's chief political fund-raiser, to personally supply $1.35 million in collateral that the lender, Bankers Trust Private Banking, could seize should the Clintons fail to make payments on a house costing more than three times what a Presidential salary could support.

Some private analysts said they were struck by what a good deal it appeared to be for the Clintons -- even though the bank itself, with whom three Clinton Administration aides or friends have had ties, seemed to have not been particularly generous.

For one thing, Bankers Trust, which was acquired in June by Deutsche Bank, would not want to have to explain to examiners an ostensibly uneconomic loan to a couple with negative net worth because of $5.5 million in legal debts, a sum that far exceeds their assets of about $1.5 million.

Rangel, Frank, Clinton, big dems are exempt from the rules.

Tony Rezko paid for the obamas house in Chicago.

Penny Pritzker is paying for the house in Hawaii.

Another qustion....why? Although he was on the books for an actual law firm, one cannot find any record of him ever appearing in court for a case. That aside...His total worth in 2008 was under $6 million....No where near enough for a 35 million dollar home.

maybe he's not planning on spending all of his campaign fund? he gets to keep that money if he pays taxes on it.

(and you can bet he won't pay one red cent more than he has too.)

    Well it works like this.

WND knows its audience. It is to the far right/survivalist(buy gold! what do you need for when the race riots start!) what Supermarket tabloids are to bored housewives.

Where tabloids specialize in batboy's and Nostradamus's warnings, WND specializes in everything scary to the far right- especially Barack Obama.

Both pander to their audiences that are willing to accept anything as fact that they so truely want to believe.

I'd intentionally lose the election to move into that house.

I've been to the White House - its not too comfortable, homely, and its actually quite small.

Obama will have a better life, and make more money, outside of the Oval Office.

How much do you expect him to make in speeches? Him, his kids and grand-kids will all be taken care of.

The New York Times, The Washington Post, the LA Times, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS....seriously

Seriously son, that is a 3000 year old logic error in action, pretending an attack on the source is the same as refuting the story.

I think we are saying the source of the story is not credible, and the story itself claims anonymous sources and the story itself is not credible.

There is not a credible source of news reporting this. Like I said- this is for the people who are the equivelent of "Bat Boy" and Nostradamus supermarket tabloid readers.

This thread is total fail. The story takes "clues" from their search like, "It's in Hawaii" and from that, deduces that it "must" be this $35 million house, and they "must" be planning to move in January.

Move this bull(*)(*)(*)(*) to the conspiracy theories section where it belongs.

Simply saying a source is not credible is saying in your opinion the source is not credible BUT, that says nothing at all about the truth of the claim. Either Obama is buying a house or he is not. If he is the story could be in Mad Magazine (or media Matters) and it would still be true.

What you are 'saying' is a 3,000 year old recognized basic logic error and as such can be disregarded.

A jr lawyer who never had a case? Do you have a link to that lie, or do you just expect us to believe that BS?

Obama made all his money on the books Bill Ayers wrote for him. Fairly evident his 'friends' will be buying his Hawaiian palace as well. No matter how good a speaker you are, you're not gonna make a lotta $$$ on the speaking circuit if you live in friggin Hawaii.

The fact he's buying house in Hawaii has been all over the news... obviously HuffPo & Madcow decided not to run the story, so it's all new to the clueless lefties.

"Just in case", seems in order here and even if re-elected, it appears to be a good place to visit over the next 4 years or maybe more if he can figure a way to trash, what's left of the Constitution...

Based on his income I still can't quite figure out how he got to be a muli-millioner on the money he reports as income. For that matter I would ask the same question of every member of congress. We have a bunch of people in Washington who only care about getting rich and do not represent the voters.

LOL....I agree. I posted this link before. Check it out....here's just a clip from the article:

You need to get out into your community and get the scoop from real people on the ground.
You need to see what’s going on with your OWN EYES and listen with your OWN EARS to get the stories the media won’t ever tell you.
You need to talk to a “Think Squad” of your own wherever you can find one.
The Think Squad confirmed what I’ve been hearing through friends whose families know Marion Robinson, the current “First Grandmother” and Michelle’s mother: the Obamas and those close to them are preparing to decamp to Honolulu, Hawaii and live out his post-presidency in the post suburb of Kailua. This is Hawaii’s Beverly Hills. The Think Squad had a great time mocking the hula and pretending to sip mai-tais and pina-coladas as they regaled me with all the things Marion’s been “bragging-on” about the house she expects to live in come January when the Obamas depart the White House and Marion comes with them. They’ll still have servants, Secret Service guards, a chef, and almost all of the amenities they enjoy now. But it will be a permanent vacation mode instead of the short bursts of paradise these people experienced on their many jaunts to Hawaii over the last four years before their usual return to Washington. But now, they won’t ever have to go back to DC and Marion is especially gleeful that they won’t be coming back to Chicago ever, either.
“She hates the cold and is glad to never have to come back here,” another person at the table told me while munching on some sweet potato chips at lunch. I dipped some in hot sauce like she did and discovered a new favorite snack as she told me how she, too, would love to abandon Chicago winters forever and never have to come back here.

Yeah, they need for the first MIL to stop bragging to her friends back home how her 'punk-ass' son-in-law is moving her to Hawaii. The leak had to come from someplace... people don't just make this (*)(*)(*)(*) up.
