No one can eat fresh lobster in Florida? Since when? Millions of feeder hogs are hung , cut and bled ALL OVER FLORIDA, but you'll have to actually leave your basement to notice.

I was referring to the part where he said "I have admitted to KILLING THOUSANDS of animals". Whatever anyone may say, it is illegal in Florida to kill animals, except within strict hunting and fishing regulations. Muslims on Eid al Adha aren't legally hunting or fishing . They're just killing.

So it's ok to kill for sport but slaughter them to be used for food isn't ok? Wow. You really make a whole lot of sense. NOT!

Straw man expert are you ? I didn't say "it's ok to kill for sport", you said that. In fact I explained (clearly) "I hate hunting. Except for where people really depend upon it for food"

Yes, I do make sense. As long as you don't change my words into other words.

And you know very well (since I've only said it about 50 times already), that Eid al Adha is not about food. That's just a lame excuse.

"Eid al Adha" is a muslim version of a Hebrew holiday, the celebration of Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his own son to God.
Most of islam is stolen from Judaism, although the later writings of quran are a STARK departure from Judeo teachings.

As far as "Eid al Adha" , sacrificing an animal FOR FOOD, ESPECIALLY TO SHARE, is , most definitely, a big part of it, here, and elsewhere:
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Eid-al-Adha in United States

Many Muslims in the United States observe Eid-al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, each year. This festival commemorates Ibrahim’s (Abraham) willingness to sacrifice his son to God. This festival also marks the end of the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.

    What do people do?

Many Muslims in the United States celebrate Eid al-Adha with prayers and social gatherings. The Eid al-Adha services can attract thousands of Muslims in various places such as Chicago (Illinois) and Orlando (Florida). Many Muslims of many heritages, including North Africa, Pakistan, Eastern Europe, wear traditional clothes and share their national dishes. It is a time for prayer, sharing meals, handing out gifts and wishing one another well.

Eid al-Adha follows from the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia, in which Muslims are required to make at least once in their lives. Eid al-Adha is also known as the Feast of Sacrifice because it traditionally includes the sacrifice of an animal permitted for food (eg. a lamb) as an act of thanksgiving for God’s mercy. Some Muslims seek out a farm where they can carry out the sacrifice, but many also send money to their native lands to help fund a sacrifice. Eid al-Adha lasts for up to three days and is a time to seek mercy from God.

Here we go again! Look, I'm sorry, but your psychosis and paranoia does not apply to everyone. Here's something you missed about my friend. He is not an adherent. He belongs to a family of muslims, but drinks alcohol regularly, parties, doesn't respect Ramadan at all... In fact, the only muslim thing about him is that he doesn't eat pork. So... basically either his family is lying, or he's lying for no reason, because, again, he's not a muslim.

You don't know (*)(*)(*)(*). You're stereotyping, believing a ridiculous conspiracy theory about Taqqiya that is completely untrue, and deciding that, for whatever reason, all muslims are the same. Watch:

Yes, because the Muslim Brotherhood represents all muslims - especially those in the west.

    Oh.

    Wait.

I'd seek psychological help. Also, you dropped your tin hat.

...Islam is not a religion? (*)(*)(*)(*)(*), you crazy.

I sometimes wonder if people as so stupid they don't think some of the animals they eat are abused in the same way. Someone eating meat is just as guilty as any Muslim killing an animal. The animal is still mistreated and ultimately dead.

The OP would be better off just saying he hates Muslim then making up such a flawed excuse to complain about Muslims.

I get the idea, but (*)(*)(*)(*) that, as a hunter, I know I've shot prey and only wounded, and they run, the difference in suffering is way in favor of the Muslims on this one.

LOL. You don't know what you're talking about, and YOUR silly post is full of mistakes. Allow me to correct them (no charge to you).

    1. NO, Eid al Adha is NOT "an act of thanksgiving for God’s mercy", as you incorrectly called it. Not one iota.

    2. You were correct when you called it "a muslim version of a Hebrew holiday, the celebration of Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his own son to God."

    3. Problem is, Eid al Adha today bears little resemblance to the real Eid al Adha of the distant past, when most Muslims in the Middle East and North Africa lived on farms, and kept goats, sheep, and cattle as pets. The idea was to kill a favorite animal (a pet, like we have dogs and cats) as a real sacrifice to God. Those were real sacrifices and Muslims in those times cried and agonized for years over those sacrifices. Nowadays, many Muslims killing the animals actually enjoy the killing they perform (like the numbskulls pictured here > http://www.barenakedislam.com/2012/...ebrate-eid-al-adha-by-slaughtering-animals-2/
Others do it just as an obligation of sorts, but without any sacrifice, whatsoever. To come right down to it, it is just another example of the uncivilized, barbarism of the Islamic culture, which still has yet to refine itself to modern standards.
It's not hunting. It's not slaughterhouse work. It's just killing, for no real reason at all. And in Florida, at least, it's illegal.

    4. I've posted over 100 OPs in this forum about Islam and Islamization. Feel free to look through them - lots of information there.

Seems to be a habit in this thread where posters think they can mix the legal "slaughter" of animals for commercial purposes and legal hunting, with the illegal murderous killing that is done by Muslims on Eid al Adha. Well, you can keep trying that if you like, but anyone with normal intelligence isn't snowed by it one bit. Eid al Adha is NOY commercial slaughter, it is not hunting, it is ILLEGAL killing. So now, all of YOU can stop the silliness.

    1. So what's your point about your friend ? So what about him ?

    2. I didn't say all Muslims were the same. You said that. You need to be less assuming. It 's a bad trait.

    3. I didn't say the Muslim Brotherhood represents all Muslims either. But I will say that I'll bet they represent a very large number of them - judging by the large number of MB front groups that exist (as defined by the US Justice Dept.). and the large number of people belonging to those groups, and the large number of people who attend their functions and support their Islamizing activities. And I doubt if you have any fact-based assessment, that can counter that.

    4. Tin hat ? I challenge you to produce evidence which counters anything I've said. Your rhetoric doesn't count for much. No more than that of the many other Islamapologist know-littles in this thread.

Your ignorance is brightly on display, as you show surprise at someone assessing Islam as not a religion. A notion that is held my millions of people around the world today, and billions over the past centuries. bviosly you're not very well resd on the whole issue, and definitely not ready to debate someone like me, who is very well read on it for many years.
For you edification, here's a Google of > Islam not a religion, with 252 Million results (of a very commonly held belief) >>>>>> http://www.google.com/#hl=en&sugexp..._pw.r_qf.&fp=3266efb6d9a31251&biw=853&bih=501

I just typed a very long rebuttal to your absurd post # 115, and for some reason the computer wiped it out before I could post it. I'm not going to go thru all that trouble again for a post that doesn't even deserve a response at all. I should have been watching the football game. Your whole post is a joke.

You don't even know that rejection of islam as a religion is a commonly held belief. Google > Islam not a religion, and read thru 252 Million results.

And stop putting words in my mouth that I didn't say.

NO, the OP would NOT be better off to say that, and YOU would be better off to think before you talk. What I hate is hatred, which is precisely what Islam is, and if you had the foggiest idea of what you're taking about, you'd know that.
This OP is not an excuse, nor is it flawed. I have many other OPs which criticize Islam and its many flaws (immoral and illegal under US laws), this is just another one in the bunch. That's all. I've rarely seen such a sorry lot of bad postings.

As for eating meat, I'm primarily a vegetarian, and if I had been raised that way, I'd probably be 100% vegetarian today.
Still and all, it is a false notion to equate everyday food, with killing animals one day of the year, for no reason at all.

    What does Eid al-Adha commemorate?

During the Hajj, Muslims remember and commemorate the trials and triumphs of the Prophet Abraham. The Qur'an describes Abraham as follows:

"Surely Abraham was an example, obedient to Allah, by nature upright, and he was not of the polytheists. He was grateful for Our bounties. We chose him and guided him unto a right path. We gave him good in this world, and in the next he will most surely be among the righteous." (Qur'an 16:120-121)

One of Abraham's main trials was to face the command of Allah to kill his only son. Upon hearing this command, he prepared to submit to Allah's will. When he was all prepared to do it, Allah revealed to him that his "sacrifice" had already been fulfilled. He had shown that his love for his Lord superceded all others, that he would lay down his own life or the lives of those dear to him in order to submit to God.

It is ILLEGAL, and I've already posted the Florida statutes, before you got here, and dumbed down the thread.

    From post # 69.

    Florida statute 828.02

    828.02 Definitions.—In this chapter, and in every law of the state relating to or in any way affecting animals, the word “animal” shall be held to include every living dumb creature; the words “torture,” “torment,” and “cruelty” shall be held to include every act, omission, or neglect whereby unnecessary or unjustifiable pain or suffering is caused, except when done in the interest of medical science, permitted, or allowed to continue when there is reasonable remedy or relief;

Florida statute 828.12 Cruelty to animals.— A person who intentionally commits an act to any animal which results in the cruel death, or excessive or repeated infliction of unnecessary pain or suffering, or causes the same to be done, is guilty of a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or by a fine of not more than $10,000, or both.

And in case anyone doesn't know what a third degree felony can bring, it is 5 years in a state prison. That's for one count (one animal). Kill, let's say 5, you get 25 years.

When the cops came out to my Muslim neighbor's place, do you think they were just whistling "Dixie" ?
