Are you trying claim that someone said iron II is inert? Do you mean iron II oxide? FeO is very unstable at the temperatures present that day. It would have rapidly combined to become Fe3O4. This is hardly the point though. The point is the massive release of energy that should have been the result of such an event.

You made an assumption about his claim and attempted to answer for him with a rather absurd assumption that the method of heating affected the way the gasses and aerosols expanded. As such I asked you a question. It was "why [do you think] gasses and aerosols expand differently based on the method of heating?"

A particle heavier then air is being acted upon by gravity. A Particle(heavier than air) is located at 2,000 feet above the ground. It falls to earth with gravity accelerating the speed until it reaches the ground or terminal velocity.

What force could drive this particle back up further then 2,000 feet?

Air currents. A collapse causes tons of them, many of which go up. You do understand that just because something is heavier than air that it does not necessarily just fall to earth, right? Ever see an airplane? How about a leaf? It is clearly heavier than air, yet a slight breeze can send them flying. Open your mind to the environment you are talking about. Was the air dead calm? Better yet, what force would blow the debris up? High explosives? Some directed energy weapon like Wood likes to pretend exists?

Bottom line isn't that you think it is impossible according to your knowledge of physics. The bottom line is you saw it was possible, and thus should seek to find out how it is possible given the known circumstances instead of continuing to claim it is not possible without some other external nefarious force.
