Because loving and recognizing truth is not through force of will but through free will and since humans have free will there will always be those who will chose to deny God and truth. Just like there are still many who deny the holocaust that is why Gen. Eisenhower is very clear to what the Allied army discover with what is now called holocaust:
“Get it all on record now – get the films – get the witnesses – because somewhere down the track of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.”

A historical event that happens or coincidentally sound or substitute the Biblical Exodus and in that comparison the reality of the Biblical Exodus can be said is link to the historical exodus the only difference is that the Biblical Exodus focus strictly on the Hebrews while the historical exodus covers a wider story line that involves the cold war or territorial supremacy or conflict between Egypt and the Hyksos.

Then you have problem with science and with the English language-grammar not with me. You should tell the scientist not to use the word "kind" to designate or group the different species (I forgot do you have also problem with the word species?) and to the English scholars to clarify the word "kind" and to strike it out from the dictionary and usage in describing or grouping species.

When confronted with verifiable and established information that runs counter to beliefs based on the bibles is it acceptable to create new interpretations based on such pieces of said texts in the attempt to refute these discrepancies?

By doing so does one create a new version of "The Word of God", or are the written texts to be taken at face value?

Given the many differing versions of the Bibles....which one is the actual "Word of God", and which by definition are therefor false?

The New Testament clarify that we are all children of God, that we are all sinners etc.
And Cannon Law further expanded all the laws necessary to govern and made this world a more peaceful, free, equal and safe to all.
Jesus was in his boundaries to kick all those money lenders and hackers from the Temple.
Jesus save Mary Magdalene from being stone this set that every one has the right to be treated fair and equal.

Faith is what makes us understand moral good, to treat others equally, to understand evil people, etc. Facts work hand in hand with faith. The only thing stupid is not recognizing the relationship of fact and faith.

Most of these responses are so poor. Are you serious ?

This is so idiotic it is not even funny.

    1) The Bible does not say the snake was an Angel

I have read that the Snake was another God ... but who knows.

The poster never said anything about angels so why are you asking the poster to prove there is no such thing as angels ?

    2) Why are you still asking anyone folks prove a negative when he stupidity of this has been pointed out to you so many times.

    .

How do you know that God is smarter than man ?

The Earth is much older than 5000 years.

I do not buy into claims that a "trickster God" after the flood and creation of the earth came back and rearranged everything to fool humans and contradict the Bible.

Total water estimates have been done. One does not need to be able to measure every drop to know that there is not enough water to satisfy the Noah flood condition.

Estimates +/- a few billion gallons would be more than accurate enough.

So what ? A few examples like this does not a Global flood prove. Not finding such things in a global layer on a regular basis and over most of the earth does prove otherwise.

So you do not believe in anything based on the number system because numbers were created by man?

How do you know that numbers were created by man ? Perhaps aliens or the Gods gave numbers to man.

    Back into the cave !

Which again shows how little you know. Hebrew isn't a religion, judaism is a religion, hebrew is a language and people who were called hebrews were people who shared that language.

let's not be cryptic. what do you mean?

ONce again you have it bass ackwards. There is only the need to prove the existence of a thing.
If its existence cannot be proven, then it doesn't exist. Seen any angels lurking about lately?

what on earth does this mean? Are you suggesting that a "day" as described in the bible is of massively variable length, or is it that the notion of 6 days of creation is indefensible.

No, I haven't, but hydrologists have.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water#On_Earth

this is irrelevant to the discussion, other than to prove that the earth is one heck of a lot older than 6,000 years. thre is no evidence at all of a uniform sedimentary layer that would correspond to a flood some 4000 years or so ago. Zip, nada.
Rocks speak to us of the past. Just like your "sharks teeth".

what kind of mystical nonsense is that? continuous habitation and historical record is continuous habitation and historical record in ANY MEASUREMENT system you care to employ. Call it 4,000 years to 8 centons the fact remains.

You really don't know anything about biology. A year floating in the sea for most seeds would have them waterlogged and/or rotted. The only seeds that could survive are those that have evolved to like coconuts.

It would also seem you know nothing about hydroponics.

seriously? a million+ species of insect were also on the ark? interesting, since many insects are specifically adapted to live in environments that the ark could not replicate. Some have their life spans measured in hours. many eat only a single specific food. Did god also give the animals birth control?

that is simply ridiculous. According to our UNDERSTANDING of marine life and geology and minerology and hydrology and vulcanology and biology. Attempting to offer fact free explanations only serves to highlight the absurdity of such belief.

Perhaps? with aeration systems? again, you are merely speculating and trying to bring a myth into the realm of reality, despite having absolutely no evidence or factual basis.

Again an obtuse answer of containing no information. Noah and his family could not possibly have repopulated the earth within the time frame of that the bible implies. That is simply a fact of human reproduction.

Yes linguistics. I don't know what your point is about hebrew, except to say, neither does arabic as well as many ancient languages. Mayan and Egyptian heiroglyphs don't have vowels. not a big deal.

As for migration patterns, the origin of homo sapiens sapiens is believed to be mesopotamia. From dna analysis it is possible to actually track human migration patterns across the continents.
    https://genographic.nationalgeographic.com/

And your point? You have actually just highlighted one of the most noble purposes of man. The quest for knowledge and understanding. Nobody has claimed omniscience. Each generation makes its contribution to our collective knowledge.
What was once a "miracle" is routine today like curing leprosy, its easy and its cheap.

Speculation is not evidence, it is not proof, it is not relevant to answering specific questions. Either you have the answer or you don't.

So how come christians charge interest on loans today?

Are you suggesting that the act of saving a prostitute from stoning negates the long list of biblical capital crimes?

Please provide evidence of that. Where in the new testament is it written that these laws INCLUDING slave ownership were refuted by Jesus.

I totally disagree. Morality is not a function of faith, it is a function of being human and living in a cooperative society.

The ancient Jewish philosopher Philo of Alexandria made the same point about the Bible being a parable and using logic to deconstruct it. For example, there is a passage about "plants and things that grow in the field." Since that is redundant, he took it as a clue to what the two things symbolized.

Here's a little fact that might help to inform your faith. Did you know the story of the Woman at the Well did not appear in the oldest complete texts of the Bible that have been found? The story was added later by a scribe or a person who wanted to expand on the known narrative. There is no evidence that it was part of the original oral tradition that was recorded. Great story, just clearly a human creation and addition.
Let that inform the relationship between fact and faith.

Again you are equating gay with straight, begging the question. Your arguments all sound fair only because you sneak in that unproven sameness.

The point is that the Biblical Exodus didn't happen.

"Kind" is not a biological word or used by scientists. It is a religious word that could have any meaning you want it to since the Bible doesn't define what a kind is.

You see, it's things like this that make me wonder if you've ever even read the bible.

Show me where Mary Magdalene was the prostitute saved from stoning by jesus.

No need. I am the bastard that says it never happened. And the rest does not answer the question.

And do you know that the Hebrew people are the people that the Bible mention in the Old Testament as the chosen people of God, the same people that were enslave and later freed by Moses travel to Palestine to establish the Northern State of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah, and it was them who started the religion of One God called Judaism, the same Hebrews and religion that history has wrote down as the people that is now Israel.

And do you know that the Hyksos suddenly disappear in Egypt were they wiped out or did they evolve to become the Hebrews?

That is why there will always be people that will deny truth and that is why God instructed Moses to write down everything.
    And so did Gen. Eisenhower;
”“Get it all on record now – get the films – get the witnesses – because somewhere down the track of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.

    - - - Updated - - -

Show me that you really read the Bible? You who do not accept or believe in the Bible is asking me to proof myself, I have proof the validity of the Bible have you done the same? No because you don't understand the Bible.

That is your opinion, the point is it did happen whether it is associated with the Hyksos or actual Hebrews the bottom line the exodus did happen. By the way what ever happen to the Hyksos? Were they eventually wiped out by the Egyptians? Or did they evolve to become the Hebrews?

Again, talk to the scientist and linguistic scholars. I understand very well the science meaning of "kind" and that is I am of the human kind not ape kind.

Here is a story a true story for you, when all is lost and hopeless faith is all we have. People capture or kidnap by the Taliban have only faith that they will survive, people who were trap when the Twin Towers were taken down by the Islamist terrorist all they have is faith that they will make it out alive, faith is all the Chilean miners have while trap for days in a collapse mine.

No, I know the Hebrew peopled declared themselves to be the chosen people, the gift that keeps on giving considering how christianity provides them cover. Most ancient peoples claimed they were special with their chosen gods. The Habiru were not slaves, there may have been a leader among them when they were chased out of Egypt but his name wasn't Moses and the Moses story is no more truth then Achilles Odysseus.

The habiru wandered in the desert for a hundred years, moving their flocks from one watering hole or grazing area to another. When they reached Canaan, which was a pretty open society, they were allowed to stay and graze their flocks but the habiru realized they would never have any long term wealth or stability unless they owned and controlled land so they embarked on a military tof invading one town after another, killing all the residents, men, women, children, even the animals in some instances. They even invaded and conquered Jerusalem. You did know Jreusalem was an existing city when the hebrews invaded, right?

The hebrews worship El, they just renamed him. Do you know when and where he was renamed?

The Hyksos were foreign rulers who were overthrown and kicked out of Egypt. I don't think the Hyksos were the Hebrews, I believe the Habiru were the Hebrews.

Moses wrote nothing down. Moses didn't exist. There is NO EVIDENCE the Decalogue ever existed on stone tablets. When the babylonians invaded and conquered Israel they kept a strict inventory of the booty taken...no Ark of the Covenent. When the Romans invaded and sacked the temple in 70AD again, no Ark. The holy relics of Jewish religion, taken out of the temple are immortalized on Constantines Arch, no Ark.

    She wasn't....

This further makes one take into account if he has really read it or making it up as he goes along.

You just made up a yours biblical version of the exodus sound like Lord of the Rings epic. I will stick to the truth about the Bible.

    - - - Updated - - -

Of course for you it didn't exist because you have created an entire your own version of everything.

How do you know if according to you the Bible did not exist? Are you making things up that Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute?
