You may be mistaking economic discrimination from social discrimination as a fallacy of false Cause and analogy. One is both legal and socially acceptable and the other is what our republican form of Government is all about.

The federalist position is, was, and always has been, that our governments have not the Power to deny and disparage the privileges and immunities of the citizens in the several States.

the comparison is the right to marry, which is exactly the same thing, we are not talking about all the other rights that Americans of the past denied blacks, just the right to marry white people because they were black people and visa versa - same tired old arguments were also used to try and prevent interracial marriage as same sex marriage, that is a fact

I was married over 30 years ago in a registry office by a JP. No mention of religion at all and yet after all this time, I'm still married.

Interracial couples procreate just like same race couples do. The children of interracial couples benefit just as much from both their mother and father in the home as same race couples do and can suffer from their absence. Race has no rational relation to the stated governmental interest. The sex of the couples seeking marriage DOES have a rational relation as only heterosexual couples produce chordal in need of someone to provide and care for them. Not the same argument at all.

some do, some don't... not all inter-racial or even all hetero-sexual couples can pro-create, some just can't, good thing for them it's not a criteria to get married

Procreation has nothing to do with who can marry

Just like same race couples. Not sure of your point. Probably my mistake is in presuming you have one.

    - - - Updated - - -

Has everything to do with who can marry in 41 states. Has absolutely nothing to do with marriage in only 9 states. There marriage is only about sex.

Has nothing to do with marriage in any state. That's why no requirement for the ability, intention or potential for procreation exists

that was my point, pro-creation is not a qualifier to being allowed to marry

name one state that requires you to be able to pro-create to get married... there is none as that is not a requirement

in fact, some states have laws on the book saying some couples can only get married if they can not pro-create

No one claimed it was. Marriage is limited to Heterosexual couples because only heterosexual couples procreate. Presence of a man and woman is all thats required. So your point was to scamper off after a strawman. I'll wait here.

If you haven't figured it out by now, this is a trollish game that dixon plays in every thread he's in. He makes an argument, it gets refuted, he then cries strawman and pretends he never made the argument. It's pathetic

Silly, I never said it was required. Youve lost your ability to distinguish my arguments from YOUR strawmen. Happens when you rely so heavily upon them.
