It is typical of these slimeballs that they first persuade the Palestinians to drop court cases against them for heritage crimes and then, when the Palestinians comply, to block the agreed UNESCO inspection. As well as exposing themselves yet again as being worm-tongued liars the neoZionists' action proclaims loudly to the world that they have something to hide in Jerusalem . Let's find out what it is and prosecute them.
Facebook page associating UNRWA with terror glorification closed Three days after PMW exposed that UNRWA's name was on the logo of a Palestinian youth center that glorified a suicide terrorist on Facebook, the page was closed. You bet! The other link. So, they make a deal to postpone the resolutions and agree to a visit with no political agenda and not to go to the Temple Mount. Then they find out the Palestinians have brought in all these politicians to meet with the UNESCO people and, are going to the Temple Mount. Subsequently, Israel cancels the visit. They did say they would look at it again in a few months but, when I read this I wondered why they would; "Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malaki that the UNESCO delegation is actually “an investigative committee examining the occupation’s attempts to Judaize Jerusalem.” " Doesn't sound like they are adhering to the agreement at all. 1.Israel was attacked by the Arab League in 1948 after they refused their own Palestinian nation.. 2. Through their official Charters, words of their leaders and actions of the people, Palestinian Governments have proved they have the destruction of Israel as their official policy, not peace. 3. Israel is at war and has been since the Arab League and Palestinians declared it in 1948 which requires every man, woman and child to be part of their defense system, as Israel is completely dependent on it’s citizen soldiers, land occupied during this war can be used to support the defenders making settlements legal. 4. The English Dictionary defines ‘Anti-Semitism’ as hatred of Jews. 5. The Holocaust is a fact. The perpetrators admitted it. Those who attempt to pick apart this fact don’t do it out of simple questioning but rather anti Semitism. 6. If Israel was wiped off the map, we'd still have the government, business, finance, media, and education in the US, Canada, and Western Europe INFESTED with Jews. The Judeophilia in those places would INCREASE as another Holocaust occurred and, many helped and cheered as it occurred.
How about I bring a group of people to inspect YOUR HOUSE based on membership to this community. We set the terms, tell you when we want to come and who is coming. Something you would agree to? How about I then began publicly berating you for your practice of keeping live chickens in your underwear drawer and ask that the forum conduct hearings regarding this and other things I THINK you might be doing with pickled herring, used grocery sacks and deflated soccer balls? Still going to be welcoming? That's essentially what you're whining about. Israel ALLOWS the UN, someone who has never been supportive of them to come in and inspect, bringing with them a group of their choosing. The group has made clear their support for people who don't like Israel and intend to supply those detractors a voice during the inspection. Israel owes YOU, the UN and the Palestinians NOTHING. They owe no more than the UK, Saudi, Egypt, Jordan, or Syria , but you all insist on crawling up Israel's butt and then complaining about the lousy view. Nice manners your mommies taught you.
Why would the UN be supportive of a nation which routinely ignores, violates and arrogantly disregards the laws rules and resolutions which, by being signatory to the UN Charter, it agreed to abide by? What was that about "manners"? Israel owes its existence to the UN and its predecessor. That's what Israel owes and the UN, in the face of immense frustration, has been extremely patient with that pariah state.
Perhaps the UN should be a bit less supportive as they tend to work better with rogue states like Iran, North Korea, Syria and Jordan. People like you seem to better relate to those rogue states as well since you aren't online whining and screeching on a daily basis about their wrongdoings. The UN being supportive of you seems to be a huge pain in the rectal orifice. As for Israel owing "it's existence to the UN and it's predecessor." Perhaps you could explain that concept.... It would be quite enlightening. As for the UN being patient with Israel.... that's akin to a powder puff threatening to become very angry. The UN has demonstrated the ability to accomplish NOTHING while providing unlimited quantities of meaningless demands and spending money like a drunken sailor on his first ever shore leave. Extremely Patient or just Universally Nonproductive?
You appear to be missing some relevant information. The Zionists are occupiers of Jerusalem. The city is illegally occupied . The Zionists made a ' deal ' to admit the UNESCO inspectorate and they renaged on that deal.
Illegally by who's standards? The UN? Same scenerio... I have declared your occupation of your house to be Illegal... Now can we set terms and inspect?
Yes, of course the UN. Say now if you refuse to accept international law and I can start to treat any further blatherings with the contempt they'll deserve.
Ok... so 1948 is too long ago and Resolution 181 isn't what you're referring to as the UN declaring Israel in violation of International Law? Please explain who you are referring to...
Standing back and surveying the scene then; Palestine's UNESCO recognition by 107 votes to 14 led to........ Palestine being recognised as an Observer State at the UN by 138 votes to 9 which led to....... The European Union directive that Israel must identify as non-Israeli any activities taking place in the Occupied Territories. Do you remember how Susan Rice became apoplectic at Palestine's full membership of UNESCO ? Come back Susan for another two curtain calls.
Ha ha ha, UNESCO is probably cussing the day they did that UNESCO silent as Hamas bulldozes world heritage site for terrorist training camp GENEVA, April 15 - In an urgent letter sent today to UNESCO director-general Irina Bokova (see letter below), UN Watch demanded immediate action to stop the Hamas bulldozing of a 3000-year-old Gaza harbor for use as a terrorist training camp, as reported today by Al Monitor Palestine Pulse. A copy was also sent to EU foreign minister Catherine Ashton calling on the EU to take action. The partial destruction of the ancient Anthedon Harborwhich includes the ruins of a Roman temple and archaeological remains from the Persian, Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine erascomes exactly one year after the area was nominated by new UNESCO member state Palestine as a World Heritage site. UN Watch, an independent Geneva-based monitoring group, called on Bokova to bring the issue before the UNESCO executive board now meeting in Paris. Although the biannual UNESCO meeting, which runs until April 26, lists five agenda items concerning Palestinian issueswhich US Ambassador Killion has described as highly politicized and designed to single out Israelthere is currently no scheduled discussion to address the month-long Hamas bulldozing of the proposed heritage site. UN Watchs letter as sent today to Ms. Bokova and Lady Ashton follows below. _________ Ms. Irina Bokova Director General, UNESCO UNESCO Headquarters 7, Place de Fontenoy 75352 Paris 07 SP France cc: Catherine Ashton, European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs 15 April 2013 Dear Ms. Bokova, UN Watch is alarmed by the reported destruction by Hamas of parts of the ancient Anthedon Harbor in Gaza for use as a terrorist training camp. We urge you to bring the matter immediately before the UNESCO Executive Board, currently meeting at its 191st session in Paris, for protective action. We note the tragic irony that this destruction by the rulers of Gaza comes exactly one year after the area was nominated by new UNESCO member state Palestine as a World Heritage site. As you must know, earlier last month, despite criticism from nongovernmental organizations, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas bulldozed a part of the Anthedon Harbor in northern Gaza along the Mediterranean Sea, according to yesterdays report by Al Monitor Palestine Pulse. Hamas damaged the harbor in order to expand its military training zone, which was initially opened on the location in 2002, according to your own UNESCO representative in Gaza, Yousef al-Ejla. That the UNESCO executive has so far failed to place the Hamas destruction and cynical abuse of this site on its agenda underscores the tragic politicization and diversion of the agencys mission to protect world culture and heritage. According the current UNESCO session timetable, there are in fact four agenda items dedicated exclusively to Palestinian issues: Items 9, 10, 34, and 35, while Item 5 includes a fifth report on this issue. Israel is the only country in the world that is targeted for specific criticism in this session. Previous UNESCO resolutions on these five items were rightly described by US Ambassador David Killion as highly politicized and designed to single out Israel. The extreme politicization even prompted Russia to successfully oppose discussion of these items, despite vehement Palestinian opposition, at the previous 190th session in October. UNESCOs admission of Palestine as a member state in 2011, which caused the organization to lose almost a quarter of its budget when the US suspended its contributions, was justified as a measure to help protect world heritage sites in Palestinian areas. Yet as Hamas turns a cultural heritage site into a terrorist training groundthe antithesis of culturethe silence of UNESCO now places the very credibility of the organization at stake. Sincerely, Hillel C. Neuer Executive Director http://blog.unwatch.org/index.php/2...ld-heritage-site-for-terrorist-training-camp/ Oh, the sweet irony... thank you for reminding us of palestinian... cultural... heritage... Moon
Sorry your post is denude of any factual substantiation... Posts are normally NOT based on emotional upheavals but rather on facts... Besides the blabber.... where are the facts? I live here and you live in Islamobritania... what gives?
Moon, are you laughing at UNESCO or HAMAS or possibly both? Forgot to say good night, off flying home. Will laugh at some more new posts of yours then
Moon, the UNESCO lobbied for, and accepted palestinians as their member, the reasoning was palestinians now will care for the UNESCO world heritage sites. And what has happened? The palestinians promptly proceeded to destroy them World heritage sites. So, who is missing the point, you or me? I think, we both know the answer
