Well I guess Stevie will be limiting himself to 20 states and international shows.

I really hate it when talented artists allow their emotions to override their common sense.

Yeah, it's been a problem for me my whole career--as a guy who doesn't drink the kool aid and working in the entertainment industry. As I said, I've been to Stevie's studio and he is a really really sweet guy--generous, funny, self-deprecating, loves telling jokes about blind piano players... But opinions are like... umm, yunno.

Nothing but respect for Mr. wonder he is putting his money where his mouth is. He doesn't agree with what is going on in Florida so it is well with in his right to boycott. It shows that he will not compromise his morals. And although the right wing partisan hacks may not like it, it his career and his choice.

Sounds kinda dumb to me but it's his choice. Then again I try not to involve myself with anything regarding Louisiana(personal reasons).

I've never paid money to hear Stevie Wonder and never will.

So if he wants to boycott my state go right ahead.

    No one will miss him.

Can't someone get Stevie to see that it was not Florida's "stand your ground" law the was the basis of GZ's not guilty verdict.......he should refuse to play in Florida and every other state until they repeal their "self-defense" laws......just sayin'

No matter what you think he has the right to stand up for what he believes in. It he feels the laws in Florida are unjust he has the right to boycott Florida.

Sure, Wonder can do whatever, his choice. That isn't really the point. Stevie believes, as does Eric Holder, that there shouldn't be a right to defend yourself. Do you call that not compromising on morals? When you have no morality there is no position to compromise on.
