It's really funny how many people who seem so determined to convince people there is no God... are often worshipping other things instead.

They'll all deny it, of course.... they have to.

I like Submarine, and have no problem when he or anyone else posts only a link. Doesn't matter which "side" they are on.
They have a reason for it, so take it for what it is, or ignore it.

Certainly in the future Democratic Party voters might insist that the potential future president actually have a meaningful background of national level equivalent experience and even -- dare might one dream -- of at least some significant accomplishments aside from having voted 'Present' all the damn time as a State Senator and then having spent only 140 days as a first term U.S. senator actually performing his duties.

Oh 2016 is probably going to be an absolutely riotous hoot for us political junkies. o Reduced the deficit by a record $207 billion, down 16%, in 2012.
o Reduced the deficit by a new record $420 billion, down 37%, in 2013
o Record corporate profits
o Passed health care reform that will provide coverage to tens of millions of Americans
o Unemployment rate dropped from 10% to 7.0%
o U.S. becomes world's top oil and energy producer
o Passed financial regulation reform to prevent another housing bubble fiasco.
o Diplomatically coerced Syria to give up WMD without war or loss of single American life.

If Obama were a white Republican, conservatives would be hailing him as the messiah.

first, all those things are super awesome, but honestly, I expected more from the second coming of the son of God.

second, I dont think its a good idea for you to be bragging about obama providing material support to known al queda affiliated terrorist in Libya. That kinda think is commonly referred to as "treason"

There is no way the GOP would overlook the abilities of a candidate and settle for celebrity instead.
It's a tough road for a Republican to make it to the front (despite McCain making it ).
On the left, it's a different story. Obama breezed through with not an ounce of experience to back him... and Hillary is a predetermined shoe-in.
Not because of performance, either.

The DNC has her acceptance speech written already.

Both of them had the experience and ability.

Neither of them were 3 year senators, who just voted "present" all the time... whose only experience lied in organizing a community.

Neither the actor nor the president's son had any experience in foreign matters or with the federal branch of government. Obama was a Senator. So, no.

 

Both had LEADERSHIP SKILLS.

Both had EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE.

Obama was a donut on both metrics. He didn't and still doesn't know dick about leading or running and organization. But speechifyin', he's aces.
