On the other hand, Wilson and Kaepernick are more dynamic quarterbacks. Brady and Manning are amongst the greatest QBs who ever played the game, but they're not going to hurt you with their legs.

When you think you have a sack and they duck under and step up giving the receiver time to break free trust me they just hurt you with their legs. A QB can do more with 3 quick elusive steps to hurt you than a runner ever will.

There's no question that Brady and Manning are the better QBs, but I like the toughness and defenses of those two NFC teams.

When was the last time a "dynamic" running QB won the SuperBowl? I'll take a cerebral throwing QB any day over the "chicken with his head cut off" types. Bellichick is going to shut down the SeaChickens running game......and "dynamic" Wilson is gonna throw for 108 yards........

We shall see how the defenses deal with those two teams when it comes to it. There are so many factors that will go into these games from weather to any injuries that may occur. It's going to be interesting to see how these defenses and the running games stack up, especially against the HoF QBs for Denver and New England.

That can be true, but if your receivers are blanketed you're probably going to be wearing a 300 lb. lineman like a cheap suit.

I understand what you're saying, though - effective mobility comes in different forms...

Good point. It's been a long time (Steve Young?) but the past doesn't guarantee the future.

The Seahawks have beaten better teams than the Patriots, and I wouldn't characterize Russell Wilson as a "chicken with his head cut off". Granted, he is young, but he's got a good head on his shoulders, which is why he's been successful in college and the NFL.

The AFC team whichever one makes it, will be in for a huge shock when they got against the 49er or Seahawk Defense. Neither Manning nor Brady will have the time they need to be effective. The AFC running games are going to get crushed. Defenses win Championships and the NFC is beast on D right now. However, the Seahawk D may fall apart if Brady or Manning can audible without all the piped in "crowd noise".

Yes, and it amazes me that the Chicago Bears are not listening to me whenever I tell them that. I should be running that team. ;)

I was floored when they signed Cutler to 7 more years when McCowen played 100% better than Cutler. They could have saved some money and let McCowen start a couple years while getting one of these hot hands out of this years QB pool. This year there will be at least 5 starting QB's drafted. Silly Bears.

Seahawks pulling some bull(*)(*)(*)(*) here. Seems they are afraid they can't win if the 12th man isn't stacked in their favor.

Thy must be afraid that SF is too close. Any Niner fans wishin to go are welcome to use my oregon zip code.

I'm admittedly bias, as the Broncos are doing the same thing.

Broncos are doing what? Piping crowd noise? The only thing unique about Mile High Stadium is they built it similar to the old stadium, in that the stadium shakes when they fans stomp their feet. That's why you see the cameras jumping all over the place. Don't get me wrong, it's loud but nothing like the King Dome.... er CenturyLink Field.

I meant the same thing as only selling tickets in a select region. But unlike the Seahwaks their stadium doesn't win their games for them

I never seen region restrictions here. They always allocated a certain percentage for fans for the opposing team, but anyone can purchase any seat available without having to list your zip code. Browns fans used to come out of the wood work some years ago and flood the stadium.

And jsut as an example, the Chargers could not sell the remaining portion of their fans proportioned seats so they released those 300+ seats to Broncos some 2 days before the game. Only catch was you had to buy them at the box office but that was it.

I think it's a pretty dickhead move. If the fans of the other team want to come all the way out for the game they should be able to. It's their championship as well.

Have teams always done this? I know you said you haven't heard of the Broncos doing it before, but is it a norm for the championship game?

Not sure as this is the first I've ever heard of this. The majority of Bronco's tickets are already sold to Bronco's fans as we have an insane waiting period for season passes. That's why they allocate a portion of tickets (I think they generally reserve 5,000 tickets here in Denver) to the opposing team to ensure fans and players families have an opportunity to get tickets, otherwise it would be 100% Bronco's fans.

Here in Denver, these seats are on the East Stands. Horrible place to sit during the summer as you're in the sun the majority of the game... Granted, nicer when it's 10 degrees but still the sun glare Can be nasty.

It's a real dickhead move. The 49er team has earned their fans the Championship game and now they can't buy tickets for it? WTF is that?

I guess they could go to a secondary seller like stub hub and pay more.... but the volume of tickets available will be greatly diminished and with it 49er's fans chances of attending.

    Yeah, it was!

Gotta admit, I've been a Dolphins fan forever (I grew up in Florida, back when they were the (*)(*)(*)(*) in the 70's)...they haven't really been much for many years. Had a glimmer of hope this year, but alas, not to be.

Second choice (by virtue of homestead location) is the Steelers, but they were horrible this year (I blame it on those stupid looking throw back uniforms, lol).

So, for me, once that point was reached, I didn't really care who it was, as long as it wasn't the Dallas Cowgirls, or any team with a player that has the name "Manning".

    So, we'll see.

The Patriots have Brady and too many undrafted, 5'11 White WRs for either of the two NFC teams.........they will shred the NFC defense.......too bad Gronk got hurt or it wouldn't even be close.

    Rabble rabble racism.

It must hurt your butt that Jimmy Graham was so close to beating Gronk's record. Next year baby!

    Interesting.

I find it so morally vacuous that such constant bleating about race should go unmentioned. Here it is.

Personally., I don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about skin color. But that is just me being, well, decent.

Or that Vernon Davis got the pro bowl nod.

Gotta catch 'em to hurt 'em. The Patriots just have too much speed at the WR position. And speed kills
