I think you should re-read rule 10 very carefully.

You made those idiotic claims before mac-7 even posted in this thread.

Your like the #8 post in this thread.

One more time, read Mac-7's posts. They prove what you need to know. He is a conservative who is very happy about this in Nigeria, and also thinks it's a good thing for government to do. BTW, that was 3Link you replied to earlier.

Now, a better question- do you agree with Mac-7? Why or why not?

    - - - Updated - - -

I am? No, that would be 3Link. You can't even keep track of who you reply to.

    - - - Updated - - -

And those claims were hardly idiotic, as Mac-7 proved them all in one post.

So you had no proof, and you were just making crap up, and now your using mac-7 as an excuse to not provide proof?

I have tried to make it clear to the libs here that no one in Nigeria has to go to jail.

All they have to do is not engage in homosexual sex.

I think that is just as reasonable as the traffic laws that must be obeyed or laws against collecting pictures of nude children on their computers.

No one made anything up. Mac-7 said exactly what 3Link claimed!

I'm going to ask you again- do you agree with Mac-7 that gay people should be put in jail worldwide and that he is happy Nigeria did it? Why or why not?

    - - - Updated - - -

I am not going to agree to go to jail because I fall in love with another adult of the same sex. That's utterly ridiculous and fascist.

I think what we have here is the product of a spoiled generation that never heard the word "no" growing up.

Homosexual sex is against the law in Nigeria and if you choose to break the law the fault for what happens next falls on you.

Say Nigeria passed a law that said anyone who practices Christianity goes to jail. Then it would be the case that nobody in Nigeria has to go to jail. They just have to refrain from practicing Christianity.

My point is that your point is a total non-point. Obviously anyone can avoid going to jail by not having gay sex. The question is whether the law is just -- not whether it can be avoided.

Same deal the Taliban offers, Mac.

As long as you don't cut your beard and the wife wears a tent over her body....they don't HAVE to be executed in a soccer stadium.

I'm 46, so you must be 80 or something. Trust me, I grew up without a lot and heard no all the time. This has absolutely nothing to do with gay people.

    BTW, given Mac's response....

don't EVER believe the denial of Social Cons that there aren't those among their number that wouldn't impose a theocracy on us if they only could.

They're out there...and we must be constantly vigilant of them.

And Mac-7 proved him right. He's a conservative, he's happy about the Nigerian law and he thinks it's a good thing for government to do.

Now, do you agree with Mac-7 or not? If not, why not?

Let me get this straight. If I post that conservatives are celebrating this, and afterwards a conservatives creates a post that confirms my post, my original post was wrong because it wasn't confirmed until after the fact?

Just another example of conservatives STRETCHING logic to hell.

Yep- and he freely admitted it too.

He also won;t answer my questions, which is quite telling in and of itself.

BTW, there are two type of rightwing theocrats...the honest and the cowardly. Mac, to his credit, is an honest one.

The cowardly ones agree with his sentiment, but still want some CYA for the rest of the time when they talk about how they "hate Big Government"....except of course when they want it in the bedroom or in the uterus. So they remain silent, but in agreement with the honest.

I dont give a damn what Nigeria does, and I already posted about the left handed hypocrisy in this matter.

Iran executes gays, and obama and pals are making deals to legalize their nuclear enrichment.

How come the gay community isnt verbally eviscerating obama for making idiotic deals with gay killers, and state sponsors of terrorism??

    How come you dont care?

Nigeria just banned them, Iran kills them.

nope, not a peep from the left handed community.

To his credit. Mac may be an American Talibanist....but atleast he's an honest one. The ones who agree with him, but carefuly "hide" their agreement are the liars.

So, the OP that started this thread....doesn't exist?!?!?!?

    BTW, as I said...two types.

    - - - Updated - - -

He used the "I don't care about Nigeria"...then tried to turn it into "Leftys don't raise a peep about Nigeria"...on a thread started by a "lefty" discussing the anti-gay law in Nigeria.

That's some rhetorical gymnastics, to try to NOT look like a theocrat.....but also to not make the theocrats who are his blog buddies mad at him. :)

So you think we like Iran or Islam? Are you serious? I am an open critic of Islam on this forum, and have been very loud and harsh about it. So you know where you can go.

One more time though- do you agree with Mac-7 that you are happy this law got passed and do you think it should happen everywhere? Answer the questions.
