Fox News supposedly slants to the right

CNN supposedly slants to the left

Which one is furthest from center?

Spot on. Some of the pundits are also very well versed in directing a discussion toward the answers they wish to convey.
I stopped watching most of FNC since.
My favorite at FNC, and one worth paying attention to is Bob Beckle. While he seemed very annoying at first, he is straight forward, honest and well balanced. Too bad the others rarely let him get in a word.

I find fox news to be more biased. CNN is biased but it is far more subtle...MSNBC on the other hand is just as biased as fox news lol.

The HOSTS on Fox tend to the right, the HOSTS on MSNBC tend to the left; the guests on Fox tend to be a split; the guests on MSNBC tend to the far left, so between those two I would put MSNBC as more biased overall. As for CNN, they are more like the ball in a pinball machine--they are all over the place. Morgan and Cooper are on the left, Blitzer always comes across like the twitchy guy in the waiting room waiting for his name to be called for the rectal exam, and Lemon (I think that is his name) seems more common sense.

I'm not sure who is more biased, but nothing beats Fox News for unintentionally hilarious comedy.

Id say CNN is as much left of center as Fox is right of center. The problem is that CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, NPR, MSNBC are all left of center. Makes FOX appear more right wing than it actually is.

I think that is an excellent summation.

Fox and MSNBC, from what I can tell, seem to be loaded with highly partisan pundits.

CNN, I think one could make an argument they lean a bit left, but I do not think they are in the neighborhood of either Fox or MSNBC.

According to a Pew Study, Fox is. MSNBC had 85% opinion, FOX had 55% and CNN had 46%.

You're making the same mistake the lefties do with the NYT or MSNBC - because you agree with the political slant of Fox you don't recognize that it is objectively biased.

Whatever it is, CNN will be less of it. They are laying off 40 more people.

    http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/465288de-840a-11e3-9903-00144feab7de.html#axzz2rFinI5Gp

    quote:
“CNN has laid off more than 40 senior journalists in its newsgathering operation…”

“…John Martin, CEO of Turner Broadcasting, Time Warner’s television unit, told an investor call that CNN’s profits had fallen.”

    Taxcutter says:
In the news biz if you lose credibility, you lose audience. CNN has lost credibility and the audience flees – mostly to Fox News. Thus CNN loses even more money. Look for more cuts.

CNN is losing ground to not only Fox news but the cartyoonish MSNBC.

A year later, hiring a NBC guy as top dog at CNN doesn’t look like such a hot idea.

They have the same bias!! They are both owned by giant corporations and have many of the same sponsors. So they have the same biases. A pro-corporate bias and a bias towards making a profit for themselves, their sponsors, and their corporate owners. All the other biases are just performances from performers of politics.

The audience seems to find Fox News more credible. They vote with their remotes.

CNN used to be top dog on cable. Fox News blew them away. What happened?

Erin Burnette is clearly a righty.

The thing is though CNN actually covers news stories where both MSNBC and Fox editorialize.

I agree. Whoever gets the most votes nationwide is generally the better contender. Just look at Obama.

Popularity is a good sign that you're doing your job right.

I think some of it is that there is only one right leaning media source on TV. CNN is center and MSNBC is left leaning. Also Conservatives don't watch anything but Fox, good brand loyality there.

In a sense it would, but MSNBC isn't a news network - it is the "progressive" Left's propaganda bullhorn.

I would say Fox News is more to the Right. But I would also say Fox gives you more of the Left's views than CNN

Wrong. I watch CBS in the morning, ABC at dinner time and Fox News at prime time.
