5 year old actress gets death threats over gay characters on her show-

Police are investigating death threats made against 5-year-old actress Mia Talerico after her Disney Channel program introduced a lesbian couple, the Daily Dot reported on Thursday.

Talerico’s show, Good Luck Charlie, introduced the two characters, Susan and Cheryl, in an episode aired on Jan. 26. Talerico’s real-life mother, Claire, notified Disney security after someone began posting messages on the actress’ Instagram account saying, “Die Mia, F*cking Die in hell! Kill yourself, you deserve to die.”

CNN reported that Disney then alerted Los Angeles police officials, who are investigating the posts.

This kind of slime just shows how deep the fear and hate runs out there. We often imagine this undercurrent of evil is almost non-existant...because so often it tries to present a "pretty face" or "tones it down".....but this kind of incident shows it's out there and it's real

Sadly, no. It's rather difficult to immigrate to most of Europe unless you already have a job there or you come from either a developing country or a country with a special relationship with a particular nation (like immigrating from Australia to the UK).

i dont care what the reason, but sending death threats to a child is some seriously sick (*)(*)(*)(*). This person or people involved needs to have their trial skipped and taken straight to the ocean to be fed on by sharks.

 

That would depend on the country. Norway is pretty hard to immigrate to but is probably the best country in the world to live in.

I guess its only wrong when its against pro gay children. Anti gay children can be attacked without condemnation.

 

It turns out that this video was a gross misrepresentation. I posted it in another thread a few months ago, and another poster revealed why it was inaccurate.

Truth be told, more rapes come from "native citizens" in Norway than from immigrants. Granted, as in Sweden, the definition of rape is broader in Norway than it is here.

In some ways, you could argue that Scandinavia leans too far in the feminist direction, but I find it preferable than the other extreme at least.

In other categories of rape there were Norwegian attackers as well, but they were still in the minority (Note: the translation of the Norwegian TV report embedded here does not make a distiction between "assault rape" and other forms of rape, and appears to confuse the statistics for 2010 with those for 2006-2010).
