Sorry but "reporting" news has nothing to do with the "truth". Never has. Their only job is to find out more than you can and tell you what they think you would want to know about it.

I watch quite a bit of Fox Business News and I would bet the one of Liz Clamen with the damned near all exposed boobs is a photoshop, lie, and bull(*)(*)(*)(*)t.

She is a lovely, slightly older, very attractive lady that is usually dressed very appropriately on air. If that one is a lie, and I bet it is, how many of the others are lies?

In point of fact one does have to wonder what the world would be like today had we never known about ACORN or The Beer Summit or Fast and Furious; had we never seen anyone hold anyone inside the Obama administration accountable for anything at anytime ever; had we never heard about Benghazi or the IRS scandal or the Domestic Spying or probably a host of other things that either Fox News broke or simply forced the -- determined to look the other way -- traditional broadcast networks and, of course, CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Huffington Post who've all struggled to never, ever allow any form of discouraging word (i.e. the truth) about this president, this democratically controlled senate or the frequently disgusting antics of the Leftwing power and influence structure ever see the light of day.

 

No, the Fairness Doctrine was not established to reinforce those ideals. It was a progressive era attempt to censor free speech.

The First Amendment (which the Founders actually wrote) clearly says that we have freedom of speech and of the press.

 

Those on the Left can't stand freedom of speech which empowers people to dissent and criticize this socialist regime. Communists have always suppressed free expression and so it's small wonder that the communists in this country seek to do the same.

Yep, and the problem of late is that the Left has consistently been getting schooled by Fox and by Conservative Talk Radio and by conservative pundits and journalists and by Right of Center posters on forum boards on just about every issue since Obama got re-elected in 2012 and some of these dyed in the wool leftwingers and Obama supporters have just enough general awareness to finally notice the political walls closing in on them. So they are getting ANGRY and they are beginning to panic. Good times . . . good times . . .

 

Right. I don't understand how people can call for things like banning a news station they don't like, but still maintain that they support fundamental liberties.

Because America invited the financial center of the world to exist within your borders.

They should create a network called the "Electric News." Put shock collars on pundits. If they interrupt or shout over? Shock. If they talk more than 5 seconds past their buzzer? Shock. If they make a misstatement of material, objective fact towards propaganda purpose? Shock. If they engage in blatant hyperbole? Shock.

The RW pundits would get their asses shocked off and would learn to modulate their statements accordingly. The LW pundits would be flatline dead in under a minute. Chris Matthews could power a small city on the current running through his ass on such a show.

 

The 1st Amendment has GOT to go. We've proven we can't be trusted with it.

 

Fox is a meaningless organization. Obama's reelection has ended the far right and social conservatism. Fox has always been a joke and they're imploding.

The right wingers on here will point out how Fox' ratings are more than MSNBC and CNN combined, but if ratings mattered, Romney would be president. It's over for the right wing. They're old, tired, and out of energy. They will not survive this century without turning the GOP into a regional party.

 

Damn shame then that the Democratic Party leadership and leftwing pundits and journalists are fairly certain that unless things change radically between now and November then a party that almost doesn't exist is going to be handing the Dem Leadership a political shellacking so thorough as to make the one they gave the Dem Party in 2010 look lackadaisical in comparison. I guess it's a good thing then for the Left that Fox News is meaningless and the GOP has got no voting blocks left to speak of. Whew!

FOX, and a whole nest of TV and radio stations should be piled up and burned out of existence.

But...what's the point? More will be created. The reason they have such high viewings is because people like to hear that kind of stuff.
