The "fairness doctrine" is a direct violation of the 1st Amendment.

Yes, the lies are proven. have you read the op?

Yes, along came the internet, talk radio, and Fox anything-but-News so now all of the planet's inhabitants get to see just how dysfunctional and bereft of intelligence the US right wing so surely is.

I read the title and need go no further.

Just another liberal who hates having the truth told.

Truly sad. So brain washed that cannot even stand the hint that something else might be true.

I think we can save the 1st Amendment by hanging the next guy who proposes secession or the next neo-Nazi who proposes blowing up federal buildings. Just one hanging should save that amendment.

It's all in the presentation. I thoroughly enjoy watching the arteries bulge in Limbaugh's and O'Reilly's necks when talking about Obie. It's the bulging arteries that tell me you folks are full of rage when presenting a 'different opinion'.

Remember, I said something similar to the Fairness Doctrine, not necessarily what it used to be. The reality is, multimillion dollar propaganda campaigns, help this nation not one bit.

Well, those are still very debatable. Lies in politics, the are actual and alleged. Hopefully we end up at the proper place, despite the deception.

Because he stopped the Syrian war or because he would rather let you and your family spend the money you earn, rather then nancy pelosi and Barack Obama?

I never said the GOP was dead....never say it WILL die.

Now "certain segments" of the GOP will die. The Homophobes are on life support and Reince Priebus will happily pull the plug. The Neo-Cons are hiding in their bunkers and "undisclosed locations" because their wars were unpopular. And the Nativists are in for the SHOCK OF THEIR LIVES after the 2014 midterms when the GOP starts pushing immigration reform.

But naturally, it'd be fun to go back and see how many times YOU agree with Dick Morris or Sean Hannity or Rush or Stuart Varney when they were talking "Romney landslide". :)

How about because he's a liar and/or hypocrite?

Who talks "privacy" and "getting Government out of your life" one minute......proposes laws to ban abortion before that?

I just don't like the bias while calling it "news."

It goes for both Fox News and MSNBC. In the evenings, they are no longer news.

I like watching the women on Fox News though :) Pure eye candy! (by design)

Fox News is obnoxious but we can't ban television, LOL

Because most of the people that scream "________ liberals!!!!!" are the radical ones.

Liberals = liberals, centrists, independents, and moderate republicans (RINO)

And, most people don't agree with any of what you mentioned. I am left leaning but I don't prefer socialism. Do you even know what socialism is?

Because they're not liberal, and that's why you should referring to them as such, my friend. ;)

Shocking, eh? The Founders had the same "problem".

You already have 5 tv news networks cheering for the Democrats. Can we not have one that tells the other side or are you simply annoyed that a conservative viewpoint is given a chance and is #1?

    Always an excuse, huh?

That's why Rand fails. He can't run as pure libertarian...the Social Cons won't support him. So he has to throw out a ban on abortion law to appease them....then HOPES that the college kids and REAL libertarians "don't notice" it and believe him when he talks "privacy" and "getting Government out of your lives, smaller, less powerful".

Same as his deal on foreign policy....soon as he starts getting hammered by the Neo-Cons, Hawks, Israel Firsters.....he'll throw out some vague comment about "getting tough" with Iran, hoping they'll imagine he means bombing the crap out of Teheran.

Like him or not, his father was more principled (though no "saint" as the Cultists claim...Ron had no problem voting against a bill he KNEW would pass...that brought home the pork to his district in Texas).

By Super Tuesday 2016....Rand will have flip-flopped or been or BOTH sides of atleast a dozen issues. Guaranteed.

And Paul Family Cultists...will...of course...defend him.

Hahahaha yes, we must trust the always faithful, always truthful politicians and their unelected bureaucratic horde to keep us from saying things that would upset others. Do you even listen to yourself? History is ripe with examples of governments controlling what their people said and ironically it never ends well for the people. That is what our founding fathers realized and understood and why they created the first amendment, they know putting that kind of power in the hands of a few is stupid. So whats the greater evil, unfettered power in government, or unfettered freedom when people say some things that can hurt your feelings or be labeled a lie?

Its almost like your goal in life is to be a horse in a government stable, they will tell you what and when to do, what and when to eat, etc and so forth... all for some "safety"... well of course, until they decide you should be turned into glue.

And MSNBC claims its a news channel... so what? Don't like them don't listen to them. Its a really simple concept. The only things Fox Airs that I like to watch are Red Eye and John Stossel's shows. I love watching MSNBC during election nights and when Im half drunk and need a good laugh.

It is for news. Not for its commentary shows.

You do know there is a difference do you not or are you an MSNBC watcher?

Killing people is an excuse? What other harm to another human or their property are you OK with?
