All you Canadians here, please stand by and let us show our …..?

What is the name of the province furthest north?

What two provinces were combined into one?

Which province is furthest east? West?

Is the Yukon Territory a province?

    Just curious?

The truth is, Americans are not that interested in Canada. So basically all I know is Robin Sprinkles, Great White North, back bacon, and the Vancouver PD has a time traveler working for it.

seems like a reasonable summation. Don't forget Bob and Doug Mckenzie, Trailer Park Boys, Rick Mercer, and mini-donuts

Why hasn't anyone answered the questions?

Hint - two dog races are named after them.

Oh I didn't forget Bob and Doug McKenzie..."Great White North!" That was the name of their show. One of Canada's finer imports.

I haven't a clue as to any of the answers. When I think of Canada all I think of is beer, sausage, Ice hockey, and Shinia Twain. What else is up there?

    You've posed a great question.

How much does the US media report/show of our neighbor to the north?

Or the south, for that matter?

Our media has become so centered that a huge member of Americans have no idea what the capitol of Canada is.,

Canada and the United States are in fact very similar.

They both have a third world country on their southern border.

Maple syrup, hockey, speak French...Rush, Justin Bieber, Neil Young, The Band, Jay Baruchel and Seth Rogen.

Better healthcare system. Have a parliamentary system/constitutional monarchy (as part of the Commonwealth of England). Better healthcare.

I'm sad to admit it but that's the extent of my knowledge. It is disappointing that most Americans don't know much about a country that's right next to them.

...That being said, I'm going to go read about Canada now...

without answering any, I question the two into one question...when they did that they weren't provinces ...two colonies joined into one then together then they became joined canada as a province...it was a very good question though, that would trip up 99% of canadians...the most northern province was sneaky

I'm not surprised that so few Americans have even tried to answer the questions.

I suppose if you want to refer to Canadians on a continental level then they are indeed North Americans, however they live in the country called Canada not America.

That's what I think of when I hear the word Canada. Sled dog races, dirt roads and outdoor toilets.

    And this guy...

Am I wrong or a country called America officially doesn't exist? It's ... United States of America.

Actually, early geographers call the entire continent America - divided between north, south, and central.

Most 'Murikans are not interested in knowing stuff about Canada -- they think of it as another so-called commonwealth, and like Puerto Rico, a burdensome drag on the U.S. It's just there and no one knows why.

Hopefully, both Puerto Rico and Canada will vote for independence and 'Murikans can get rid of them.

Maybe poster Alpinluke can clarify what was meant in post #10 when it was claimed Canadians are Americans. As to my way of thinking Canadians are Canadians living in Canada.
Americans are Americans living in the USA

Not to be nit-picking, but everyone living on the north and south of this continent are Americans. We just live in a lot of different political entities.

And, using "United Staters" wouldn't work as our neighbors to the south are The United Mexican States.

So, the question is - WHAT should we who live in the United States of America be called?
