You responded to someone asking what's wrong with the picture.

There is not a single thing you can say to back up and support what you said. NOTHING from that picture indicates ANYTHING near what you said.

You clearly hate all those who are different than you (which is about as sad and pathetic as it gets) and yet you probably think you're a believer and supporter of tolerance.

How about a new Steel cannon.....my neighbor has one. Made it himself. In fact, he fired it last night.....many times.

 

One of mine has one also they fire it several times a week, keep waiting for them to blow themselves up, they are not the sharpest knives in the drawer. Sure whatever floats your boat, make sure to put in Lots of gun power and shrapnel and seal both ends reeeeeeealy tight, then wait for the results, nice know ya.

 

My neighbor is a very 'sharp knife'...and very good working steel as well. My only complaint is the times he decides to fire his cannon. My dog also has issues with him firing it.

 

She got exactly what she was and is fishing (pun intended) for: lots and lots of attention. It started out as a joke between she and her husband (she claims) and went viral once she posted it. If you believe her..it really started out much earlier as a response to her replies about her article she posted (which has several either uninformed claims or outright lies in it) about her gripe about ACA. She is after attention...got it....and joyfully jumped in with both loud-mouthed feet.

Im all far freedom of expression as long as you dont gritch about the aftermath.

 

Well go talk to him and explain your objections, I am sure he will be very reasonable and fire only when it is ok with you, good luck with that, ROTFLMAO!

Oh, I'm sure he would be respectful of my concerns. However, I have a lot of respect for the man and he has been a family friend for years. Just one of the disadvantages of living in the country. Sometimes it is better to let 'sleeping dogs lie' (or run under the house because of loud noises).

Since Jesus Christ was/is a liberal, when it comes to social issues, the term "Conservative Christian" is an oxymoron. A person is either a conservative or he or she is a Christian. It is IMPOSSIBLE to be both.

I have another solution, at least for some that insist on firing their guns at all times of the day, I go down and start firing ones of my .44 mags into my pond, amazing quickly it gets quiet. As for the guys near me, I have also been friends for years so I just ignore it for the most part and hope one day they are not care-flighted out, really does not bother me all that much, but as with your my dog mine are not crazy about it, the guns they do not mind the bombs and homemade cannons are another story,

One of the responses to the above photo, was "where's your gun and Bible?" Hence the photo-op of the rifle in one hand, Bible in the other, American flag in the background, as a response.

We wouldn't be having this conversation if the woman wasn't young and attractive. I could post a photo of my middle-aged self on the internet wearing a pro life t-shirt, in front of a Hobby Lobby; nobody would care.

I think there's an element of humor in the photo (the flag photo), her response being, you want a cliche' I'll give you a cliche'. She ran with it, and the death threats and other threats of violence are uncalled for. Both sides of the political spectrum have their fair share of internet commandos who feel compelled to anonymously post threats and insults. I'd still argue the primary reason this has garnered any attention at all is because she happens to be young and attractive.

 

Herk i agree for the most part. She WANTED more attention...she got it. Her looks have little to do with it. Its the give and take that ensued afterward. Shes enjoying evrry minute. I hope yall dont this diatribe was her first. You see...i did some digging. She loves running her mouth. Its what she does.

 

Nah....won't work for me. For one, I don't think it is wise to bring a gun to a cannon fight. The other reason is that my neighbors would just assume I was "fishing".

 

You seem to forget a rifle or handgun can shoot faster, more often and more accurately than a cannon, look waht happesn when arti loses their advantage of distance and the infantry closes in.

It was funny until she had all the items most conservatives own (I myself am not religious so I do not own a bible), but when she responded with her picture it made liberals heads explode.

 

You mean like she taunted? Yah...real christians taunt people, right? Shes an instigator.

 

Give me a f-ing break. We all want attention.....especially those of us that are posting on a political forum. It is why we do it. To force our opinions down the throats of others and to seek acceptance. And people like her, that post on FB, are mostly in the same category. The big difference is that anything someone post on FB is only seen by those that have been friended.....unless someone does "some digging". She has EVERY right to post her opinion, whether she wants attention or not. Granted, once her opinion is public, she needs to accept negative feedback. However, that does not justify rude, hurtful, or threatening comments. Please do not even try to justify that type of behavior just because someone "wanted more attention".

 

Tongue in cheek, was the intent and indeed the response was predictable. "I hope your baby dies" or something like that. Not that the right wing doesn't have the same visceral reactions.
