Your right apart from UN resolutions, UN videos, UN organizations, and well known anti israeli newspapers like the Guardian.Books written by Israeli scholars, from Kings College quotes from legal documents I got nothing! And just to prove it heres another video from the one sided, useless corrupt UN https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYEjDR6Xpqo Now a request can I use your quote, (I was asking myself the same question....other than providing meaningless links to anti-Israel websites and equally anti-Israel, one sided, useless corrupt UN, she's contributed nothing to the debate.) for my signature line, because I think it says a lot more about Zionists than it does me. I promise I will not alter it in any way apart from to correct the gender. And I will not add any comments on it. I think the quote says everything on its own. Do I have your permission, I will accredit you if you so wish
No where do I condone the attacks by either side, and no where do I state Israel should not retaliate.
You just proved yourself wrong!! The strip is not occupied but is referred to as occupied for the simple reason that all of the land the Palestinians are on is called "Occupied Palestinian Territory" and Gaza is included for simplicities sake. " Israel occupies, the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza under international law" No they don`t.
Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the wonderful world of double speak, back to your old game of semantics put on a different record. I do admit I was wrong about one thing though, I said cartoons and it was pictures
Lol. Be my guest, I will be flattered. That being said, no one takes the UN seriously, no country does and no individuals either... the most ardent advocates of international law on this forum (when it comes to Israel only of course) turn around and justify, explain, excuse, obfuscate, ignore tens of thousands of violations of international laws and war crimes committed by the Muslim world, Palestinians and their own countries. You have to start understanding, the UN doesn't represent some kind of universal conscience or ultimate gospel...it represent political expediency of its member states most of which are third world dictatorships or Islamic theocracies. No one with a brain takes human rights resolutions issued by the likes of Iran, Saudi Arabia, China, Cuba, Somalia seriously. The one-sided anti-israel bias of the UN which doesn't do (*)(*)(*)(*) about Hamas, Syria etc and is obsessed with Israel's self defense speaks volumes about the UN, not Israel. Only morons take the UN seriously, others know it for what it is, a corrupt, impotent, useless, biased bureaucracy.
You were also wrong about Gaza being occupied as your own link states that it is not occupied but simply called that.
Sigh....the wall stopped more people like wafaa' idris (a red crescent paramedic ) and ayaat al-akras from crossing over and blowing up themselves and more innocent jews....
Try to understand Drew, that what Drew convinces himself of in his own head, with his semantics is not the same as reality. Just because you have outlined writing in black, (back to that again) does not prove it so. Sorry Drew no one is buying your cheap attempts at double speak.
Good rebuttal. Anyhow, in black and white, in reality, and every sense of the word, the legal actions of Israel to eradicate terrorists in Gaza continue.
if you shoot missiles from those civilian infrastructure including schools and hospitals then it's defientley a problem. We can't stand by and let them shoot from those places. We warn people, we tell them to get away from such civilian buldings before they are attacked. We send liflets, SMS, calls, knock on the roof, were doing the best we can. We can't control the decisions the palestinians make, and if people choose to see those warnings and take their children and run to the roof of a building that is about to be attacked, then we are not to hold accountable for their fate.
When the bombs are flying ordinary families seek shelter in schools and hospitals.. They always have. Look at any conflict or natural disaster.... Families run away and/or seek shelter.. Give it some thought ..historically.
I'm talking past not history. There is footage of people running up to the roof with their kids after "Knock On The Roof" protocol. They are given a warning to stay away and instead they go into the fire zone, with their children.
That's indicative of the vastness of the IOF's fire zone "range" within one of the most densely-populated places on the planet, not of any apparent inability for innocent men, women and children to find safe havens.
you act like gaza is a meter on meter apartment. Theres areas in Gaza who are not bombed at all where people can go, they don't have to though because IDF gives specific instructions where to go in order to remain safe out of the fire zone. When people choose to run into the fire zone, we are not responsible for their fate. BTW: https://www.facebook.com/StandWithU....151625.19459912688/10152264829992689/?type=1 Hamas killing it's own people blaming Israel for it, shocking.
Contrary to Israeli propaganda, there are no sure fire safe zones in one of the most densely populated places on the planet in which Israel pounds civilian infrastructure almost continuously. By July 18, around 300 people had been killed in Gaza, 80% of them civilians. The current death toll stands at around 1,000 including kids killed on a beach and deaths resulting from bombed hospitals and UN schools under the auspices of "targeting Hamas". I wasn't aware that all these deaths resulted from Hamas rockets, silly me.
There are now 200,000 displaced persons in Gaza, On 26 July at around 03:10, an Israeli airstrike hit a two-storey building in the Sheikh Nasser area, eastern Khan Yunis, belonging to Sameer Hussein Mohammed An-Najjar. Twenty family members were reportedly killed including 11 children, four of them aged one year or under. Five women, two of them pregnant, were also killed. According to some reports, the family had recently fled the fighting in Khuza’a to take refuge in the Khan Yunis area. Please take time to read the entire report http://www.ochaopt.org/documents/humanitarian_Snapshot_26July2014_oPt_V1.pdf
in what you convientley ignored, was written that Israel is not responsible for the deaths in the UNRWA school. Israel tells people where to go and there is where to go. Gaza is bigger then Tel aviv, do you suggest that there is not safe area in Tel Aviv? that there is no where to go? ofcurse there is. The bmombings are not Gaza-wide, theey are in specific locations and are well planned. But if civilians choose to run into the line of fire, and if Hamas fires rockets from those school and hospitals and homes, don't expect anything other than what is happening, and it is not out fault.
But it is your fault. Why do you treat the effects but not the root cause of all the problems? The root cause is clear im my opinion: In the late 19th century there were 4% Jews in Palestine. The Zionist movement convinced the Jews in Europe and all over the Middle East to emigrate in Palestine and by 1940s there were 500K Jews and 1,5 Mil Muslims in Palestine. The UN passed a resolution which gave more than half of the land to the Jews even though they were in minority. The Muslims did not agree, naturally, to this absurdity. The Jews declared independence and started to remove - as in kill or deport - the unwanted Muslims from their land. The rest as we say it's history. Jewish colonisation of Palestine in the early 20th century and the sistematic removal of the indigenuous Muslim population is the problem. What did you expect, that these people just sit there and take it? The violence will never end until you realize the injustice that these people went through and try to fix it - as much as it can still be fixed.
when did that happend? before or after 4 diffrent arab countries invaded Israel in order to kill all its jewish setllers? after the UN resolution 181 "palestinians" lunched war againts jews in order to kill us and take all the land, so we fought back, some of them fleed the country(a lot of them) and a small portion were deported by force. Did you expect as to just die and not fight back againts those who kill us? people here should really learn their history, this is getting ridiculos.
No I do not. How do you? have you spoken to Ben Gurion? How about Menahem Begin? I rely my arguments on what actually happend not on what was planned. What actualyl happend is that arabs fleed, some were deported as you said, but most simply ran away. Israel allowed 60'000 palestinians to return to their homes in Israel after the war and others were considered refugees, and the other arab countries they resined in wouldnt give them citizenship because they wanted to use them as a political tool againts Israel. FACT 2,000,000 arabs are living in Israel today. Some ethnic cleansing ha?!
Of course not but they left messages for historians to find http://palestine-studies.org/enakba/exodus/Pappe, The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine.pdf The fact that historians did was so frightening to the Israeli government that she shut the archives again and unfortunately in school you were not told the truth.
