So if one of them happens to be 5 years old, no problem. Right?

I'm just looking for your opinion here but what business does government have regulating an activity between consenting adults if there is no harm to others? At least in a nation of free men?

Not sure what you are trying to say, but i never mentioned pedophilia or incestuous sex. And regarding paid sex, it should have at least a minimum age of 16 for consent, pay taxes and undergo periodically medical exams.

I'm not "trying" to say anything.

And you're pretending your disgracefully idiotic assertion carries no implications regarding either. Believe me, I get it.

Pardon me sir you are saying i'm implying something ambigous, i was only saying prostitution needs to be regulated. It's not my fault if women are willingly to sell their bodies for money, there are even men who do that anyway, even though less in number. So since there are so many impure people, why not cutting off everyone's penis and vagina, so you are sure nobody does " that thing " for money anymore...

Evidently you're somehow unaware of what you were saying. Otherwise I don't know who in Hell you think you're kidding.

Ironically, prostitution goes against the current economic system.

ie: if you can earn 50bucks in 20 mins hooking, then why end up flipping burgers for min wage......

Would this apply to paying a woman to let you give her oral pleasure?

Can't see any exploitation of woman there.

But why should we allow government to criminalize private activity between consenting adults? What practical or pragmatic reason is there? How does doing so advance the cause of liberty?

It doesn't, but it does protect the state against the black market - and we don't want people earning their own money in a free society (add sarcasm icon)

We have a McCarthy era phrase in our pledge but no anti-hypocrisy laws on our books; what more do we need to see.

If you think the only way to find someone is to spend an inordinate amount of money, buddy your doing it wrong!

In and of itself, I can't find anything wrong with prostitution. But unfortunately, people are pretty irresponsible by nature. There's a vast difference between a high class hooker and a street ho. The HC hooker usually takes better care of herself, thus less of a chance of transmitting diseases that can be harmful to the john and anyone he has even casual contact with later. The street ho? not so much. Doing 3-4-5 strangers a shift can get pretty nasty. Even if prostitution were legalized,I really don't think that the health risks would diminish much.

So you think the government nanny should be responsible for your sexual health? Here's a better way, IMO: Let consenting adults be responsible for the outcomes of their decisions.

    That's just great. (I didn't mention "government nanny's) SCENARIO #1:
Bill is horney, so he takes a trip to 23rd street and picks up a hooker. They go to some cheap hotel and Bill gets his jollies. (if it ended there, then I have no point to make) But it doesn't SCENARIO #2: During that episode of inter-consulting adult activity, Bill contracts a STD. and the hotel shared some bedbugs. That night Bill engages in sexual activity with his wife. Who, in turn contracts Bill's recently acquired STD and the freeloading bedbugs move into their bed...and eventually the kids beds. Neat Huh?

Nobody - individuals, governments, churches, Islamic fundies - nobody has the right to decide what two consenting adults decide to do sexually in privacy.

    Nobody.

If there is no harm. Where it is illegal they make a pretty good case that it does cause harm.

I have given you my opinion. You are looking for a for or against opinion and I can't honestly give you one. That does not mean my opinion is not real.

Do you think we may be getting, less informative metrics, by spending inordinate amounts of money and get different results when we have less money (under our form of Capitalism)?

Prohibition is always worse than Commerce, well regulated. Only right can't seem to tell the difference between cost centers and profit centers when clamoring to reduce social spending on the least wealthy, under our form of Capitalism.

Without recourse to our own doctrine and State laws regarding the concept of employment at will, having a work ethic under our form of Capitalism may be a mitigating or exculpatory circumstance. Purely religious objections should not be given any more standing than secular objections, without a morals test to better ensure moral standing, even under our form of Capitalism.

No....it does not in any way involve those who say yes. I do not wish to tell anyone else who they can have sex with, what they should do with their own bodies, or if they should play cards on weekends.

    Mind your own business people.

Prostitution would be less of an issue if we could merely better promote the general welfare by using Socialism to bailout Capitalism, like usual. We could be solving for the phenomena of an alleged, natural rate of unemployment through unemployment compensation that clears our poverty guidelines. It is a more market friendly and practicable solution to poverty in the US since the infrastructure already exists in our republic.

Prostitution is legal in the United States, it is banned in some jurisdictions (OK, most jurisdictions), but there are legal bordellos in some parts of Nevada, that are a lot safer than illegal prostitution. There are no Federal laws against prostitution.
There have been experiments over the years, where police have set aside a part of a city where they would not enforce laws against prostitution.

I believe the public health argument for licensed bordellos is overwhelming, this is dangerous behavior, and bringing it into a controlled environment, with safety regulations and regular inspections and testing just makes too much sense.

STD rates aren't significantly lower in Holland than they are in the US.
