However, children that were born in, or whose parents were born in third world countries, do have lower performance on standardized tests. I say again, the U.S. has more children born to third world immigrants than Canada has immigrants. I say again, correlation is not causation.

Haha now you're just getting into semantics. By definition that is a gun control law. All your link does is prove that after the modern laws were instated the rate continued to fall. Proving nothing for you. Infact if you really want to go back you can find royal arms control legislation in England reaching as far back as 1716 or even 1824.

Now if you read my first post carefully when I stated it I simply made the observation and implied what you do with it is up to you. If you want to draw any conclusions you can do so if you don't want to then so be it.

Clearly, there is a problem with Democrats and guns.

Not one NRA member, Tea Party member, or Republican conservative was involved in any of these shootings and murders.

 

I knew one of Larry Ashbrook's victims. Cassie would be about 29 now if she hadn't looked over her pew to see if the shooting was over. She was his last victim before he killed himself. I guess he finally felt guilty after shooting an innocent 14 year old girl in the neck in front of hundreds of people.


That shooting caused thousands of church goers to get CHLs. Eventually, I was one of them. Every church I have attended since is armed to the teeth and this hasn't happened in a church in TX since that shooting.

 

What a sad story. I think our nation would be safer if we would just deny democrats from owning any weapons

Exclusion from owning firearms! That's what I like to see, now while your background checking to see if somebody is a Democrat, why not check if they are an Ex-Convict or mentally unstable?

 

Good idea, and while we're at it, keep guns out of the hands of football players, they have the propensity for being violent. As I posted in my first response to this thread, NRA and TEA Party have not been in the club of violent gun crazies

How do we fare in non-gun-related killings? It's important to know both sides for comparison and I'm curious if we are also high in non gun related killings or just gun related.

Canada - Total Homicide Rate= 2.16 - Gun Homicide Rate= 0.76
England - Total Homicide Rate= 1.41 - Gun Homicide Rate= 0.11

 

They are incredibly violent, and they have been raised since they have been small children to go after their opponents on the field to rip their heads off and crap in their necks. At the least have them all psychological evaluations before obtaining a gun

When we look at gun crimes across the years since 1994, the numbers have dropped dramatically. It would appear on a trend line that we are improving year over year, including those at schools, and even across all races.

 

We may be armed to the teeth, but we are being responsible with our arms. You can call us stupid all you want, but our actions are just and legal and nobody is being hurt.

 

No you just have people going crazy with a gun and mass shootings .. the story you are referring to was a single man with mental issues which lead to the death of an 82 year old woman, when one of your "crazies" goes on the rampage how many deaths are involved?

Violent crime in countries without guns like the UK is much higher that it is in the US. The vast majority of murders in the US are criminals killing other criminals, so actually you can make the case that guns help keep the crime rate much lower by allowing the criminals to dispense their own justice on each other.
