There's no holder for the buggy whip either, and where are the reins?

Both my cars still have crank windows and ash trays, although the latter serves as a change keeper.

Suicide doors are great. Since most doors have sensors identifying when they are ajar, manufacturers should bring them back.

I have a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5 automatic, it doesn't have a shift position (R N 1 2 3 4) indicator and no option to see what is your current shift speed you're at currently.

I miss vent windows (but I don't miss the whine that they could make if not closed completely), rear facing seats (probably safer than front facing), front bench seats, full sized spares (but my current car does have them) don't really miss crank windows, ashtrays, cassette/8 track/dial radios, automatic shoulder restraints (friend had a car with them, they always freaked me out).

Vent windows can be emulated by installing windows deflector.
Rear facing seats may be great in case of front collision, but would almost mean certain death in case of a rear collision.
I would love to get a front bench seat. Those new bucket seats are made for 110 lbs girly men. I just don't fit well in them at 6'6" 240 Lbs.

Back in the 80's there was a show on HBO called 'not necessarily the news' and a comedian on it had these words he made up to describe things with no clear name.

One of these was the gear indicator in a car 'P-R-N-D-L'......Prindle
