We all are sinners, it would be good if we repent our sins and change our lives.
Because more of co-called 'churches' are apostate and clinically dead the rest of true Christians should themselves looking for a way to be saved.
Probably this video will help you.

As an Atheist I don't believe in this, but it is interesting to listen to the other side and the arguments.

The video mentions a few arguments which are odd. That "you need to be saved from the just wrath of god" sound anything but noble. The fear of God shouldn't drive your motivation to be good or faithful. Or am I wrong?

Repent, draw close to God and be Holy, then, God will save us even in middle of fire.

Wrong. It is the fear of eternal damnation in a lake of fire that is the motivation.

You must believe in Jesus and follow his teaching, good works alone can save nobody from Hell.

Not only fear of eternal damnation, but also love to God and desire to everlasting live in Paradise.

Yes, good works needed. Once we repent, draw close to Him and be Holy, good works follows naturally.

"What Do I Have to Do To Be Saved?" Easy, give up believing in science, reason, common sense, and critical thinking, and instead believe that magic is real (that Jesus is who he said he was - the magic invisible talking dead guy who can walk on water.) That price is too high for me, personally. Besides, I didn't do anything bad enough to NEED "SAVING"! Adam and Eve: science/evolution has proven they are a dangerous lie, so no "original sin" to atone for, I'm afraid. I need Jesus as much as a squirrel needs a Harley.

Out of the tens of thousands of super-heroes on offer, I have to buck lottery-like odds and pick the one, the true, unproven super-hero? Why doesn't he provide jury-level of evidence for his actual prophet-hood, relative to the other wanna-be gods, then!? It seems unfair to torture me for eternity because I can't win that veritable lottery. I blame Jesus for not giving me jury-level of proof, seeing how he's all-powerful and all.

If YOU had Jesus' supposed magic powers would you provide said jury-level of evidence, so I and millions of others could avoid a torturous future? I bet Richard Dawkins would be that fair.

Largely that was a new thing that the NT brought. The OT just wasn't scary enough, so to get more recruits to fill the coffers, they invented Christianity 2.0 - meaner, scarier, and with a hippie/zombie with great abs to boot.

which god/s aren't 'allowed' to be mocked? you didn't say. there are around 300,000 of them, and I'm sure that with those numbers there's bound to be a good percentage who don't mind being mocked, if they have it coming.

also, how is it dangerous? do the dangers differ according to the specific god one is mocking? what are these dangers? and who prevents people from mocking the gods? not allowed implies that we are prevented from doing so, yet we do it often. is the preventative not working?

We're mostly awesome, actually. Almost all of us are beautiful, warm, kind, and decent. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a sociopath.

I've been a christian for many many years. Our faith is no good works is needed. Faith and faith alone. Did the thief on the cross have or do good works?

Nothing will "save" you. You will die and be forgotten. If you did something noteworthy people may remember your name but they will never know you.

Ecclesiastes 9:5 (GNT) = "5 Yes, the living know they are going to die, but the dead know nothing. They have no further reward; they are completely forgotten."

To be saved, you only have to send me a ton of money. I'll tend to the rest.

    Trust me.

That's false teaching. Faith without works is dead.

James 2:14-26New King James Version (NKJV)

    Faith Without Works Is Dead
14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

I don't understand why so many Christians keep saying we don't need good works when Bible clearly stated that we do.

I feel embarrassed every time they express such misunderstanding.

Who was your teacher? I think you are victim of false teaching.

You only think the wrath of God is ignoble because you yourself will not accept punishment for your crimes.

The love of Christ drives you to be good. That is written on all our hearts and is the actual source of any good ever done by anyone and is what Christ means when he says a bad vine cannot bear good fruit.

Only He the good vine can bear good fruit.

patently untrue. there have been many very bad christians, and many very good non-christians. your myth is absurd.

works is all that matters here on earth (you know, where we actually live). what purpose does faith serve? it feeds no one, and stops no wars. it's simply vanity, spoiling the purity of good works.

That is true. I take my chances by trying to be a good person and not believing. But how can you believe in something you don't?

The arguments I hear in the video would instantly doom 5 billion people who do not believe in God, and who know how many billions who already died. That practice of a "loving god" really makes me even less interested...
