I guess they just can't help themselves! After all, by GOD, it's TEXAAAAAAS. Perhaps they don't 'read so good'. The SUBJECT of
the conference was. Stand With the Prophet Against Terror and Hate. Until I found out differently, I would have given them the
benefit of the doubt. I might have even ASKED IF I COULD COME in and listen.

WATCH: Protesters surround conference put on by Texas Muslims: ‘You are not Americans’

Protesters, upset that a Muslim group was holding a conference at a Texas conference center owned by the local school district, showed up last night waving flags and signs telling attendees, “Go home and take Obama with you.”

The conference, entitled “Stand With the Prophet Against Terror and Hate,” was being being put on as a fundraiser for a Chicago-based Islamic group, Sound Vision, and approximately about 500 attendees were expected, reports NBC-DFW.

Holding signs saying “You are not Americans. Don’t fly our flag,” protesters complained about the Garland Independent School District allowing the group to use the facility.

“We pay our taxes to that school, and I don’t want them here
,” one woman, Lavona Martindale said.

Another protester, identified as Greg McKinley, said, “We’re here to stand up for the American way of life from a faction of people who are trying to destroy us.”

McKinley added, “If they want to live their life like the middle east, they can go back to the middle east.”...

Do you have an issue with the right to protest?

Can you spot the irony? The protesters say they want them to go back, to countries that don't have their values. Like religious tolerance.

You would think the brilliant elites on the left would have guessed that murderous rampages by Muslim fanatics have consequences. "Protecting" your prophet by killing innocent people is not proper behavior. MOD EDIT - Rule 2

I have an issue with people who have 'permits to carry' haranguing an 'out group'--in TEXAS. Texas hubris has no bounds.
I also have a REAL ISSUE with middle-aged white men (who can't get pregnant) getting in women's faces, who are, and
haranguing, intimidating, and attempting to shame them.

That's not a protest. Burning down your own town or chanting "what do we want? Dead cops. When do we want it? Now."

    Now that's professional protesting.

So, you have a problem with Texans no matter what they are doing. Got it.

Just one question. This Muslim Conference was being attended only by pregnant women?

For starters, ther were only a couple of hundred protesters some 200 feet away fromm the conference. Second, there was a large police presence in that area. And third, it was all over by 10pm.

No one surrounded anyone at this place in Garland. But what I find ironic though is that by protesting and saying they believe in freedom of religion, they seem not to practice what they preach and had no clue what the conference was about or who exactly the speakers were and what they believe in.

I think they were protesting against a religion that is contrary to the American value system and Constitution. Furthering the insane Islamic agenda is a threat to America as we know it.

Like any religion, it can be misinterpreted, misused, misapplied because of a few individuals. Even in Christianity where the mark of Cain was preached and taught by a lot of evangelicals that it was a sign of the black man and hence why the black man will never be equal to whites.

the same with Islam which speaks of Mary, mother of Jesus, more often than the Bible. It is an interesting religion with its core being the 5 tenets of Islam. and most muslims have the same values as americaans when it comes to family.

what should not happen is generalize a whole because of a few bad apples.

A religion which kills people on a regular basis is supported by Liberals. The other religion which, barely harms anyone, is the problem. Shows where the priorities are. And when you think about it, Islam is FAR more destructive to everything Liberals hold dear, compared to Christians.

Christianity has killed people in the name of Christianity. Shall we talk about the Crusades? KKK? Aryan Nation? White Supremecy? Army of God in Nigeria?

Meanwhile Muslims barbarians are slaughtering innocents, raping women, beheading journalists, torturing, beating women, throwing homosexuals off buildings, and trying to take over the world AS WE SPEAK. But lets focus on irrelevant garbage, oooooooook prog.

Christianity is the ONLY religion that gets criticized in America by PROGS but Christians are as gentle as a lamb compared to these murderous freaks known as Muslims. You dont hear a damn peep from props criticizing them...only desperate cries for "tolerance" for some reason...I really think it is due to their ignorance of reality.

When people bring up the crusades that's when I know they've lost the argument. As far as the KKK and the others, you can wipe them off the face of the earth and not get a complaint from me.

    Your move.

For hundreds of years, Christians were some of the most violent people on the planet. Despite this, it was Christians, not Muslims, who ended up embracing democracy and, eventually, secularism.

But the question is, does that represent all Mulsims?

the answer is no. Or if you want, I will put you in the same category as Timothy McVeigh or the Turner Diaries?

what are they protesting against? Muslims speaking out against the terrorists? seems a weird thing for the Christians to be against

going forward, anytime the right complains about Muslims not speaking out, now this will come up, was that really what the right wanted?
