Its called supporting your president even if you're ideologically opposed to him. Which is what dems did in 2002/3

have you watched it yet? Do you need to play it backwards like an old Beatles record before the "had him in our sights twice" line of bull feces is audible????

Why, because a source can't be listed? You're claiming clinton never had anyone there?

nothing in the video in your link says anything about snipers. Nowhere is anyone quoted as saying, "Twice snipers had him in his sights". So, I asked you:

    to which you replied:

one would make the natural assumption that you were suggesting in that post that the video was the source for the quote...SO..... I watched it a second time, thinking I might have missed the sniper quote the first time around.... nope.... not there. So then I asked you:

and even though you were online, forty minutes of silence ensued in this thread... at which time you came back and responded to some other post and seemed to not want to go further with our little tete a tete. So, I prompted you by saying:

    to which you replied:

nuts shot off in Iraq, were they?

"Twice snipers had him in his sights"

that's in quotes. quotes usually imply that someone said those words and you are "quoting" them ""___ "".

so now... there is no source. seems that integrity is not your strong suit.

Republicans had control of three major branches so blaming democrats for the republican (*)(*)(*)(*)ty choices is quite funny. I swear the world would be a lot better without Republicans

Im not ignoring them, in fact no one here is.

Its the subsequent conclusions from that which you are drawing that we are debating.

Clearly we can see dems are capable and have indeed supported their President, can this be said of the current GOP?

I totally agree the Repubs are merely obstructing Obama. Never denied that.

However, the quotes I provided BEFORE bush have yet to be addressed. How about House Intel Chair Pelosi's statement. Pretty powerful stuff...

Fair enough. As you can see dems and the left are not against war per se. Do you think these statements justify bus h's actions? If so then why all the wmd stuff?

Another thread demonstrating just how effective RW propaganda is.

Funny, not one of those quotes had the word "invasion" in it.

Go to the "Project for the New American Century" if you want to find the proponents for invading Iraq. Then you can remind us how many of that group ended up in the Bush administration.

So since you are a subject matter expert, what are these warmongering leftists referring to? John Kerry made it very clear in 2002 :)

Bush stated he would only go to war with Congressional Approval. He didn't just slam the hammer down and invade Iraq. He asked Congress. As Hillary and Biden made it very clear that war was needed, hence their "YES" vote.

Nancy Pelosi in 1998 made it very clear that Saddam's WMDs were a giant stockpile, making the Democrat and Republican vote an easy one.

"twice snipers had him in his sights"

Who was the source for this quotation and why do you think his syntax is so atrocious?

Yet the war was based on faulty info. Which the president has far greater scope over than Pelosi. Seems odd to blame her.

Interesting. 37 Nations provided intelligence for the invasion of Iraq. Are you claiming Bush somehow altered raw intel that was collected by the respective nations themselves, and tricked everyone to go to Iraq? lol

Please don't mistake me for some conservative, because I'm more liberal than con. I'm just giving you a soldier's perspective.

precisely. Pelosi did not order one soldier into battle.

Army guy's had a bruising sort of day. take that into consideration.

So in your professional opinion, Pelosi's statement which I quoted, would that be pro war, or ANTI war? Please explain..

he denied the presence of caveats and qualifiers which did indeed cast doubt on the validity of the intelligence.

    - - - Updated - - -

Pelosi's statement from 1998 was neither. It was simply anti-Saddam. It made no mention of war.

You should have studied harder in the ESL portion of the GED classes.

and you're still running away from that made up sniper "quote", I see.

Personal attacks are cute. However, can you provide me with sources that claim the intel from 37 nations was false? I am not calling you a liar, I am just curious as to how that was altered.

Keep in mind, before you throw another tantrum, I am not pro con or pro lib, I am calling out those that beat the war drum BEFORE and DURING Bush's presidency. You claim the dems were just agreeing with the President just to have his back, which is respectable. If that's true, than they are IDIOTS and deserve NO position in our government. Something tells me you voted for some of them ;-)
