Really? Here in rural east Tennessee most folks don't have a pot to (*)(*)(*)(*) in or a window to throw it out. Surprise, Surprise.....they all vote Republican!!!

 

Why are there no jobs? Why are jobs in China? Because the Chinese government know the game of capitalism and free-market, and they are having all the pro-business policies and lax regulation in place
aren't they?

While America is a whole different ball park. America, the supposed poster boy for capitalism treats his own businessmen like friggin' enemies. Try to start a company in America, and then try the same thing in China, let's see the difference.

Detroit was killed by the unions. The entire industry was murdered by liberal politicians and union thugs in the government. They had no choice. They had to move to China or everybody goes down with the sinking ship.

 

Too bad I understand. You are poor, you have the kind of ghetto mentality that is very brain-power consuming. Instead of worrying about buying a new block, you have to worry sick about paying your utility bills. And you tend to have those payday haydays because you want to get a quick escape from the dire reality by staring down at the bottom of a wine bottle.

Also, logical error: Poor people are likely to be stupid ≠ all poor people are stupid ≠ stupid people are also poor.

Obama is pretty stupid, AA all the way to Harvard. Yet he knows to use his financial advisers and lawyers to evade gift taxes etc.

 

Might be another chicken-egg problem.

 

Actually I prefer the term "Darwinism".

I went to those fancy high-end parties from time to time and my college reunions regularly. Rich girls tend to not only be impressively smart, but also properly behaved and look rather pleasing. Some of them really are very beautiful. A lot of my college mates were born with plastic spoons in hand and fought their way to college and have really successful careers, which is very admirable. But they don't look nearly as handsome.

If you are at the high up of the economic food chain, if you know what I mean..., you have a broader spectrum of choices... you don't have to choose between a brain or a blonde. You choose between many blondes with huge brains.

I better stop now. Because it's getting kind shallow and offensive.

So of course they're going to look down upon the poor.

They have no connection to us and don't give a flying fig about us, so of course they're going yo look down on the poor.

 

I would like to respectfully disagree. Our Commander in Chief isn't anywhere near being poor. In fact, the frequency he visits golf courses made him one of the most eligible people in America to challenge Tiger Woods.

I second to the second one. Gladly I'm one of those who didn't vote him the first time.

This is my psychology, kinda contrarian: the more you advertise something, the more skeptical I am.

This is particularly true when lefties try to use this very marketing technique. And Obama was propagated as the 2nd coming of Christ.

I've also dug deep into Che Guevara, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Ghandi, Dalai Lama etc. etc, all holy figures for liberals. And I found out that none of them are nearly as good as what the lefties love to believe.

On they other hand, I tried to read something written by Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh. While a lot of what they said are pretty awful, some still make tremendous amount of sense.

I guess all that serves as partially the reason why I would feel really silly if I were to tell anyone I'm a liberal. I'm too shy to parade my lack of independent thought in front of other people.

BGut I can't stand obama and very rarely agree with him on anything.

 

I think it is easier to be 'poor and stupid'....Since we live in a Capitalist economic profile, with positive emphasis on monetary exchange for labor, it follows that those with the least ability to acquire goods and services (those with less money) are naturally sanctioned by the Capitalist mindset. Therefore I can buy that being poor in a Capitalist economy COULD lower one's capacity to 'think outside the box.'

Capitalism basically wants EVERYONE to be a participant by CONTRIBUTING their LABOR and getting PAID for their labor. Those that can, but do not contribute, are naturally marginalized.

The truly handicapped are not a problem for Capitalism because the revenue generated from lightly regulated free markets is more than enough to take care of them. The PROBLEM is government creep of once valid programs.

I hear ya....And....Stupidity is self-imposed ignorance for most. Which is why I said it is easier to be poor and stupid. Government supports this stupidity as well. Now we have generations of 'poor and stupid' we are PAYING for. Hmmm...Maybe they're not so 'stupid' after all.
