Bush Junior won a second mandate ... that was politics ...

P.S. Clearly I have posted what I have understood, Mrs Rice talked about how they were on a hurry to attack Saddam, she didn't comment about any possible "political value" of such a move.

I see that I do. I stand corrected.

Sure it does, just like the Ku Klux Klan paraphrases the "long held common knowledge" of the bigots and supremacists who think and talk just like them.

displaying ancient art in a museum is just as bad as destroying it?

    talk about failed moral equivelency.

there is nothing bigoted to state that western christianity is largely a pagan organization. very few, if any are christians. the mormons for example are closer to christianity than virtually all western christian denominations.

Iraqi officials fear that looters are funding the rebels
By Stephen Farrell and Rana Sabbagh-Gargour
    Times (London)
    July 2, 2005
The battered box labelled "Rothmans Cigarettes" stands in a Jordanian customs warehouse surrounded by tonnes of contraband tobacco. The mundane exterior hides extraordinary contents รข€” 346 Mesopotamian clay stamps thought to date from Iraq's Sumerian civilisation, which lasted from about 4000BC to 2340BC. They were seized on April 9, two years after the fall of Baghdad led to the chaos that allowed Iraq's cultural heritage to be plundered and sold to Western collectors.

so when an army conquers a territory, all pieces of art in that territory becomes the property of the winning army?

    interesting.

no, ISIS is a multi-national, multi-ethnic organization made up of extremist Muslims from all over the world:

Foreign fighters in Iraq and Syria
A UN report estimated a total of 15,000 fighters from over 80 countries in ISIL's ranks as of November 2014.[511] US intelligence estimated an increase to around 20,000 foreign fighters in February 2015, including 3,400 from Western countries.[512]

    Statistics gathered by nation indicate up to: 3,000 from Tunisia,[513][514] 2,500 from Saudi Arabia,[513][514] 1,700 from Russia,[515] 1,500 from Jordan,[514] 1,500 from Morocco,[514] 1,200 from France,[514] 1,000 from Turkey,[516] 900 from Libanon,[514] 650 from Germany,[517] 600 from the United Kingdom,[513][514] 600 from Libya,[514] 500 from Uzbekistan,[514] 500 from Pakistan,[514] 440 from Belgium,[514] 360 from Turkmenistan,[514] 360 from Egypt,[514] 350 from Serbia,[518] 330 from Bosnia,[514] 300 from China,[519] 300 from Kosovo,[520] 300 from Sweden,[521] 250 from Australia,[522] 250 from Kazakhstan,[514] 250 from the Netherlands,[514] 200 from Austria,[523] 200 from Algeria,[514] 190 from Tajikistan,[514] 180 from the United States,[512] 150 from Norway,[524] 150 from Denmark,[514] 140 from Albania,[518] 130 from Canada,[525] 120 from Israel/Palestine,[514] 110 from Yemen,[514] 100 from Sudan,[514] 100 from Kyrgyzstan,[514] 100 from Spain,[526] 80 from Italy,[514] 70 from Somalia,[514] 70 from Kuwait,[514] 70 from Finland,[514] 50 from Ukraine,[514] 40 from Switzerland,[514] 30 from Ireland,[514] and 18 from India.[527]

Spoken like a truly hypocritical religious zealot. Perhaps these objects have no value to you ... but what about Mecca. Destroying that would be no big deal to you ?

What about the Quran ... Every existing copy. How would you keep your beloved Sharia law aspirations alive without having the Quran ?

So the bigots and supremacists in ISIS, AQ and elsewhere tell everyone (right before they saw their heads off).

Funny, the klansmen in ISIS, AQ, et al, say the same thing about most muslims. Then again, most muslims say the same thing about the klansmen in ISIS and AQ, et al.

    Who to believe? :)

I'm sure Joseph Smith would agree with you. Of course, virtually all Western Christian denominations would disagree.

so, apparently its ok for a multi-ethnic, multi-national extremist Muslim army to conquer a land, declare the land theirs, and destroy artwork at will?

well, then its also ok for Christian armies to invade lands, take their art, and display it in museums.

Don't you know yet? With him it's basically, America bad, everyone else good. You'll get used to it.

Case in point, basically saying that America Christianity is a pagan religion.

Unfortunately paganism is understood by many to include all non-Abrahamic religions.

So using the term pagan Christianity is kinda strange, or possibly a product of poor education, not sure.

Put the blame where the blame belongs. Those that are lighting the fuses to the dynamite are to blame. Not Bush, Obama or any other horrible president this country has been cursed with over the years. The ones lighting the fuses, pal. Put the blame where the blame belongs.

    Strange?

This still is from the Islamic State execution video of the Egyptian Christians they beheaded in Libya:

They supplicate what they worship and die upon their paganism.

Before he was dispatched to Allah's celestial whorehouse, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi preferred to use the term polytheists, which is interchangeable with pagans.

lets clear something up. there is nothing wrong with being a pagan in western society, we dont discriminate against it and much of the beliefs appear harmless on the outside particularly to those on the inside. my auntie is a very proud pagan and is passionate about the traditions like christmas and easter etc. however, it is not entirely compatible with those of the Abrahamic faiths, that said, there is no shame in that lifestyle if practiced in a pure form. it is though when it masquerades and attaches to the host as christian, this is when it becomes subversive and brutal due to the "harnessing"

Paganism is no more or less evil or harmful than Jews, Christians, Muslims.

nevermind the fact that the simple term "Pagan" and "Paganism" is an offensive pejorative, suggesting supremacy of the Abrahamic faiths.

you shouldnt feel ashamed. if you believe, study and have faith it can be what you want it to be. you need to remove this image in your head about primitive paganism of medieval europe. pagans have smartphones too you know!

    you seem stuck in time.

Did somebody say they were unclear about something?

I have friends who are proud pagans and are passionate about worshipping their Moon-god Allah and performing their obligatory pagan rituals at the Hajj, such as kissing rocks. What does that have to do with the joke-assed conceits of takfirists?

LOLZ - Who thinks that? Caliph Ibrahim? The monkeys in Ansar al-Dine?

Here's something you can clear up for us. Is it "brutal and subversive" when Islam is "harnessed" to the local cultures and traditions outside the Arabian Peninsula?

Made up nonsense. Only muslims have a problem with portrayals of the human image.

Oh no, ISIS came from AQI which came from an Iraq based group called jama'at al-tawhid wal-jihad and ansar al Islam, which was led by Abu Musab al Zaraqwi BEFORE the US invaded Iraq. Furthermore, the group had ties to al-Qaeda as zarqawi met bin laden BEFORE the Iraqi war. Now rep me for knowing that...
