http://qz.com/362957/big-fairs-like-art-basel-hong-kong-are-great-for-business-but-bad-for-art/ westerners don't do that, won't do that. the article is too long, but that photo pops up to my eyes, and the 1st thing gets to my mind is that, they are just kind of creature which is purely shameful. and they don't even know that. they don't have the enough quality to rule us.
This just comes across as ignorant racism that has nothing to do with the article you posted (but apparently couldn't be bothered to read). Am I missing something here?
Chinese people can be pretty shameless in some ways, they do not necessarily have regard for the courtesy of other people. It's not "racism". There are a huge number of people in Hong Kong who are disgusted by the conduct of mainland Chinese who visit their city. It is a cultural problem. http://www.bloombergview.com/articles/2014-07-02/culture-war-fuels-hong-kong-protests https://badcanto.wordpress.com/spot-the-mainlander/ http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2014/04/15/chinese-tourists-ugly-americans_n_5150905.html
There are issues with any developing nations tourists not just China. Every been to India or Philippine. As China grow they will adapt and learn. Hk just has stereotype issues against mainland China. They think they are much better and look down upon mainland chinese. Also you can't generlized entire country by the action of few As for the article what's the issue there. Apparently u didnt read article it's just complain art as business which is true in any country. And what about the picture? It's made of silicone. U obviously never been to west there are plenty art auction like that in west
People of any racial or national grouping can be pretty shameless in some ways (including Hong Kong). That doesn't justify attacking them all. The OP had nothing to do with the on-going friction between China and Hong Kong (remember they didn't even read the article) and came across as racist to me. By all means point out any other purpose or value you think I missed from it. And a number of people have been disgusted as the conduct of some people in Hong Kong. This isn't a one-sided issue.
