Which is the best way to cook pork? How do you like pork?

I don't have much experience with cooking pork since I am from a Jewish family, so I'm interested in how folks do this.

I dust pork chops (bone in) with just a little flout, salt and pepper and fry them with just a little oil..

Remove chops when they are golden but underdone.. Add back to the skillet two apples sliced and peeled. .. and cook a minute in the drippings.. Make a lite gravy and return pork to skillet to braise for 8 minutes.

Its good with cold slaw or green salad.

Are you speaking of pork butt or ham?

I slow cook pork butt with a spice rub at low temp for 6 hours.

I cook ham in cheap champagne and orange juice.

Easy and delicious pork recipe: get a pork loin, dust it with taco seasoning, place in oven dish, and cover with salsa. Cook at recommended temp and time for weight of loin but ten minutes before its done cover it with shredded cheese ( I use pepper jack) and let it brown. Serve with rice and veggie of choice.

Its nothing nasty. Just a boneless cut of pork. You can get the prepackaged at the grocery store right next to the pork chops.

Here you go Ron, knock yourself out
    http://allrecipes.com/recipes/meat-and-poultry/pork/

I recently made a herb marinated loin roast. It was really good. Cilantro, parsley, basil, oregano to taste, pureed with some lemon juice, garlic, salt and a bit of oil, marinate the meat for a few hours and cook as desired.

I know at the supermarket you can buy a large ham steak, around 1' in diameter and a little less than an inch thick.

I'd like to cook that nicely.

Don't overcook it, or it gets dry. As it is cooked already, you just need to crust it up and heat it through. Try it with redeyed gravy, a coffee based sauce that is great with eggs. If you are an egg man that is.

I'm not a crazy fan of pork, but I do like:
Billy Sims BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Aw my they spice it just right.
Southern batter Fried center cut chops, topped with with cream pan gravy and mash potatoes on the side.

It has been said to me that bacon is best when its wrapped around scallops.

I believe the contrary, that scallops are best when they are wrapped around bacon!!!!

    :)

Though I wanted to say "all of the above" I said "other". The best pork I ever have are baby back ribs from Texas Roadhouse. I can make them at home but not as good.
