Government is always a threat to free people. America's Founders realized this and pitted governmental powers against each other (Legislature, Judicial, Executive) AND made the representatives dependent upon a poll of the population who are given the right to vote them in or out. It's not perfect but it has been working pretty well...so far. Obama is a constitutional lawyer and, I believe, sees the Constitution as a hindrance. Here are his comments on the Constitution when he was running for office... Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama described the U.S. Constitution as having deep flaws during a September 2001 Chicago public radio program, adding that the countrys Founding Fathers had an enormous blind spot when they wrote it. Obama also remarked that the Constitution reflected the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day. http://www.newsmax.com/InsideCover/obama-constitution/2008/10/27/id/326165/ Obama is being challenged by the Congress which was elected by The People. This is how we roll...
Making a search on the net, I've found out that you have quoted Adolf Hitler ... who was Socialist [not exactly like Mussolini, who was a leader of Socialist Party, but in a quite similar way] as for extraction, then [like the Italian Duce] he added a nice charge of nationalism to the Socialist ideology, creating that incredible monster which was the "National Socialism".
Our current president, his administration, and most of his party are Marxist/fascist. We were stupid to elect him w/o knowing him better. And even more stupid to re-elect him. We'll pay for this for decades to come, in punitive economy and freedom killing regulations and the opening of precedents where he's violated the Constitution and his office and was not called to task for it by our corrupt RINO Republicans. Obamacare, the dissolving of our southern border, the enabling of ISIS and fomenting an arms race in the ME, the deliberate destruction of race relations....the list goes on and on and on. Hear me: the damage is great and deep and we will regret it horribly. This didn't have to happen, but it did. The fallout is toxic.
Actually, Hitler was a National Socialist, and he based his party primarily upon the Fascist Party of Italy. And there was at least one other at the time, and it in fact is generally considered the oldest "National Socialist Party" still in existence, the Kuomintang (which actually dates back to 1894). The biggest distinction between National Socialist and Communist organizations is that one generally promotes worldwide worker revolution, while the other promotes the workers joining together to make their nation stronger. But ultimately they have the same goals, just getting there in different ways.
Germans tend to deny that Hitler considered Mussolini his master and his model ... but that's it. Hitler imitated Mussolini, nothing more simple than that.
It's collectivism defined, isn't it? Subjugate yourself to the collective whole. It stands in opposition to an association of free individuals cooperating willingly and without any force or coercion (to the extent that they do not violate the rights of others). We have definitely gone too far towards the former, and our power-hungry federal government is leading the way.
The professional left, the administration, the D party - it's a rush toward totalitarianism. They really don't try to conceal it. The Blue Dog dems were driven out some 10+ years ago. Progressivism, leftism, socialism, communism, fascism - all forms of leftist ideology. It's amazing and tragic how easily people are willing to give up their real rights/Liberty for fake rights and handouts. Nothing is free. A backlash is coming.
Q: Did President Bush call the Constitution a "******ned piece of paper"? A: Extremely unlikely. The Web site that reported those words has a history of quoting phony sources and retracting bogus stories. The report that Bush "screamed" those words at Republican congressional leaders in November 2005 is unsubstantiated, to put it charitably. We judge that the odds that the report is accurate hover near zero. It comes from Capitol Hill Blue, a Web site that has a history of relying on phony sources, retracting stories and apologizing to its readers. Update, Feb. 21, 2011: The author of the Capitol Hill Blue story has now withdrawn it. Doug Thompson messaged us to say: This is to let you know that the piece on Bush and the Constitution has been changed and reads: "This article was based on sources that we thought, at the time, were reliable. We have since discovered reasons to doubt their veracity. For that reason, this article has been removed from our database." I no longer stand behind that article or its conclusions and have said so in answers to several recent queries. In addition, I have asked that it be removed from a documentary film. Thompson elaborated on what led him to retract his story in an item posted on his website Jan. 1, 2011. He also noted that an earlier article, in which he had referred to Bush as a "madman," has been removed from the site entirely. http://www.factcheck.org/2007/12/bush-the-constitution-a-******ned-piece-of-paper/
It will be. That in itself is worrisome. We should have never let the Marxist Left gain so much ground in a country founded on it's opposite.
Imagine that. A politician who wasn't completely honest and even made false promises. What a surprise!
Re-read your Constitution. That is the job of the Supreme Court (Judicial Branch), not the President. The Executive Branch does not uphold anything.
