Black Judge Hands Armed Robbers a Light Sentence – Calls 3 y.o White Victim a Racist

In an outrageous statement from the bench, Louisville Judge Olu Stevens attacked the tiny white toddler and her parents for their “racism” calling the little girl’s statement “disturbing” while at the same time excusing the actions of the criminals who traumatized her.

That’s right, this judge was more upset at a little girl for being scared by armed robbers than he was at the armed robbers.
1 - Judge is a very important person and candidate should be smart and also - very honest.
2 - This judge showed lack of education and total incompetence by calling 3 y.o girl - racist.
I think these words are the best example of foolishness of our judicial system(in Kentucky of course, but i'm sure that cases like that could happened in other states too)What do you think guys? Why such people are working on such jobs?

I heard a sound recording of this judge's statement so I do believe it's legit. Not really a shock that the MSM would stay away from it.

Now had a white judge decided to call a black 3 year olds statement racist.... Well you already know what would happen.

 

I can't find anything credible supporting this, but if it's true the guy needs to lose his seat and get some psychiatric treatment. He's obviously insane.

What the judge said was in response to the impact statement of the victims, in which they said their daughter was terrified of all black people.

"This little girl certainly has been victimized, and she can't help the way she feels," Stevens said, according to video obtained by the Courier-Journal. "My exception is more with her parents and their accepting that kind of mentality and fostering those type of stereotypes."

No i dont think blaming the parents and not the criminal is reasonable..... the judge is out of his mind.

 

what an idiot of a judge, the reason she is scared is because of the criminals actions and her age, that was a traumatic event.... his actions did not help this poor girl any

hopefully with time the fear will lessen, but it really would of helped her had the judge handled this better....

yes, it is offensive, try to close your eyes and imagine a white judge said this about a 3 year old black child who was the victim of a white criminal

both would be equally offensive.... the child is 3 years old, were not talking a teen that can properly process something like this

had she been attacked by a cat, she would probably fear cats too.... we hope she grows out of it and learns it's a irrational fear, but at 3 she doesn't have the mental capacity yet to make that change in mental attitudes logically

So let me get this straight. 2 black guys rob a house, wave a gun in a 3 year olds face. Then, the parents indicate their emotional trauma at the fact their 3 year old is displaying perfectly normal behavior, associating fear with the circumstances of the robbery. And the judge calls them racist?

Disbar this idiot before he issues more skewed sentences. He's a joke.

 

Except he didn't criticise the girl at all, he criticised the parents for their interpretation of the situation and he didn't excuse the actions of the criminals, one of whom he sent to prison and the other gave probation (largely due to it being a first offence).

It's certainly valid to question his comments about the victim statement, which I think he did take too far, but that's no justification to lie and exaggerate about the situation.

 

Is it offensive?

The judge clearly states he understands why this child thinks this way, and his response to the parents perpetuation of the fears of the child seems reasonable.

What is the part that anyone could reasonably deem offensive? He never calls anyone a name. he never seems to unfairly target any particular race. He never uses untoward language.

 

If this is real, this man should be thrown in prison.

 

Saying he is disgusted is reasonable to you? Reminder he wasnt speaking about the criminals.

if the child was attacked by a cat and the parents said she was now afraid of cats from the traumatic experience, would that mean they hate cats, no, it means they are explaining their 3 year old child's fears, fears these criminals caused their child, fears that child should not and would not have if not for the criminals... perfectly valid things to put in a victims statement

Anyone who has raised children knows that if it was a man in a clown mask, she'd now be afraid of all clowns.

 

Did this judge seek counsel from Al Sharpton before he made his decision? It's a 3 year old for Christ sakes. At that age if something frightens a child, no matter the child, in most cases that child will be extremely scared of whatever frightened them for quite awhile.

The child knows no better, she only knows that black people scared her so for now she will definitely have a fear or uneasiness with black people. You hurt a childs trust they are not going to hide it. This is no different than when a child see's a horror movie and develops a long time fear for anything that resembles whatever monster was in the movie.

I remember when I was little I saw the horror movie ''Dolls" , after that it took me quite some time to not want to sleep in my grandmas house because of her collection of porcelain dolls lol. I was terrified of the damned things.

This judge needs a kick in the *******n ass.

 

Maybe the judge should do some jail time for giving asinine, idiotic judgements. How in the hell can you justify saying something that stupid when a 3yr old child has been harmed.

 

Maybe I missed it but I didn't see anything in the article to support the judges accusation.
