That's silly that you believe there is not a large group of white nationalists in the south that still believes in the Confederate agenda. Just look at this site, lol. You are being blinded by something, but I will tell you the rest of the world, as shown by the past week and a half views the Confederate flag like Roof views it. If you feel waving it around is something to take pride in, feel free.

The rest of us good hearted real Americans will continue seeing that traitorous flag as a direct insult to the real Americans who died protecting our freedoms. Over 300k+ white Americans were killed protecting the US from the bigotry and sickness of the south. Waving that flag is a direct insult to them and this country.

 

It is fascinating that EVERY Confederate booster is entirely happy to completely ignore and discount the 300 thousands BLACK US CITIZENS in order to keep this enslavement, torture, rape, murder and theft of USA CITIZENS at the Confederate's own pleasure, profit and sadistic fun!

I'm not saying you're not an American... I'm saying you are supporting a flag that represents an army that killed 330k+ real Americans. I don't hold any hate at all, that's why I think the flag should come down because it represents exactly what Roof thought it represents. That's real hate if you ask me. Wanting a flag to come down because it represents an army that was fighting to keep people enslaved is not out of hate. It's out of respect.

It's coming down. I don't know what else to tell you. The common sense community out there understands what that flag represents, even the leaders in South Carolina. It's time to put it in a museum where it belongs.

1st, Lincoln started an unconstitutional war.
2nd, The battlefield is a place of honor not murder, the ignorant fail to understand that.
3rd, You think forcing people to work to death, gassing them, and incinerating the remains in an industrial fashion is the same as a peaceful secession that was unconstitutionally invaded? (African-Americans were not worked to death, they were worked and fed)

I love it! The North in the war had all the advantages: they outnumbered the South over 2 to 1 in soldiers --northern population was 22 million for the North compared to 9 million for the South; north had all the factories; had the trains to transport men and weapons; North controlled the Navy. YET with all those enormous advantages, it took the North 4 years to defeat the South.

 

People are known to act out of spite...

The Nazi's were being attacked from all fronts by the allied powers and their allies in turn. They put up a tremendous fight and in that alone, should be respected. But should we fly their flag and honor them in history because of it, despite the nature of their regime?

Were you not aware that there was a Confederate flag? Did not knowing negatively impact your life somehow? Did you not know that Southerner Bill Clinton celebrated Confederate Memorial Day every year as governor? Did you not realize that he signed a law honoring the Confederacy with a star on the state flag? Does this change your opinion of him? Did you vote for him? Obviously doing what he did makes him a racist according to you. His wife was also a party to all of this as his wife. Does that change your opinion of her? She has a lot of explaining to do, huh?
