I live in the UK and I know for a fact that electronic harassment is real and not a conspiracy theory.

The harassers use sophisticated radio/microwave equipment which according to published scientific papers available on the net can produce sound within the human cranium as a result of rapid thermal expansion.

The harassment usually takes place at night with the intent being to disrupt your sleep. After a night of harassment there is a definite electrical burning smell in the closed room on the other side of the aluminium foil shielding I use. The aroma is pronounced and is not due to any electrical equipment in the room which is switched off at night.

I have complained about the harassment to the police, solicitors, civil liberties groups, the local council and the housing association but all to no effect.

Being a subject of such harassment really changes your view on how the world is really run and the facade we call democracy with its token rights and freedoms. If you speak out against the system or criticize it in any way you become a subject of such harassment.

I am concerned as to how such harassment could be effecting my health. Since this harassment begun I have developed dark spots in my vision or 'floaters' and I imagine the radio/microwaves used are well above recommended safety levels.

Why is it people don't take the problem seriously enough and listen to your complaints?

Here is the Wikipedia entry for the "microwave auditory effect", as it is also known, proving this is not just science fiction:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microwave_auditory_effect

The Wiki article goes on to claim that conspiracy theorists claiming such 'electronic harassment' are often delusional. I have to admit many of the accounts of such harassment on the net often fail to convince and I suspect many of these accounts are bogus and serve as a smokescreen for the actual harassment. Its so easy to pass such complaints off as psychiatric issues or hearing problems. I have never been diagnosed with any psychiatric condition and don't take medication.

I once raised the issue with Liberty, the UK human rights group, and the individual I spoke with over the phone suggested I may have a hearing problem. However if it were a hearing problem then I would expect the symptoms to persist wherever I went which is not the case, it only occurs at home. However the representative still wasn't impressed.

It seems people have closed their ears to the issue as they have already been told what to think...........its all just nonsense.......

Many people in America are also complaining of being targeted by this.

“For years, the U.S. military has explored a new kind of firepower that is instantaneous, precise and virtually inexhaustible: beams of electromagnetic energy. “Directed-energy” pulses can be throttled up or down depending on the situation, much like the phasers on “Star Trek” could be set to kill or merely stun….

The hallmark of all directed-energy weapons is that the target — whether a human or a mechanical object — has no chance to avoid the shot because it moves at the speed of light. At some frequencies, it can penetrate walls.”

A Directed-Energy Weapon (DEW) emits energy at a target without using a projectile, and can produce a variety of lethal or non-lethal effects. Such weapons have existed for decades, and are used by militaries and law enforcement agencies around the world. DEWs use various forms of energy, such as laser beams, electromagnetic radiation, and particle beams, as well as sound.
Weapons of this type are often referred to as “non-lethal weapons” to distinguish them from weapons such as knives, batons, firearms, artillery, and such; however, the intensity of some energy weapons can produce lethal effects.

Naturally, much of the information about these weapons is classified.
Occasional references to the subject do appear in the news. An example is this May 17, 2013 article in the Marine Corps Times about the Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate at Quantico, Virginia. The article explains that the directorate performs “research into everything from electroshock weapons to the Active Denial System, a directed energy weapon that causes painful sensations to targeted individuals without burning the skin.”

This September 2012 article in Business Insider – “America’s Scariest Weapons” – gives an idea of some of the electronics weapons being developed by the U.S. government, such as a “heat ray.”
In September 2013 it was reported that the U.S. Defense Department granted a $49 million contract to General Dynamics for developing directed energy weapons.

No one disputes the existence of such devices.

In my case I am not so certain that Directed-Energy Weapons (DEW) are being used which can be used for crowd control by the police or by the military, but probably a lesser form of the same thing.

The Wiki reference covers the effect quite well, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microwave_auditory_effect

The aim appears to be to harass rather than to physically harm or cause discomfort in any way. For example you can be awoken during the middle of the night by the sound of the doorbell or the phone ringing but no-one was at the door because the security light didn't come on and the telephone itself doesn't register any attempted call. Electronically projected sound was used and if you attempt to complain about it to anyone it makes you sound crazy, or at least that appears to be the ploy.

Because you aren't providing any tangible proof such as say some sort of chemical sniffer ir audio/video recording.

Who said anything about chemicals, and how do you video microwave harassment taking place?

I did in fact produce several hours of audio recording of the harassment taking place and there were many suspicious sounds captured throughout the course of a typical evening. In one recording you clearly here artificial, electronic clicking sounds which increase in frequency so much that at one point it becomes a continual buzzing sound.

However I was informed by the local authorities that the sounds weren't sufficiently loud enough for them to take any action.

I've recently become aware that the Trifield meter I have only detects microwaves up to 3 Ghz. This seems to apply to many microwave detectors.

Most state of the art covert equipment tends to use the higher frequencies these days of up to 10 Ghz including covert listening devices and microwave harassment equipment. Apparently the microwave auditory effect also occurs at higher frequencies as well (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microwave_auditory_effect)

This may explain why I wasn't able to detect anything using my Trifield meter.

The meters you recommend do actually go up to 10 Ghz and these are something I will look at. However with all the aluminium foil shielding I have at the moment it's possible the harassers have changed their methods and may be using infrasound or something like it which is almost impossible to block.

    These weapons are fact...

Some cities already use watered down versions of these weapons in train stations/subways to prevent teenage loitering. They devices blast a sound that only teenagers are susceptible to.

    http://www.compoundsecurity.co.uk/security-equipment/mosquito-mk4-anti-loitering-device

Also these microwave weapons are very real, they can microwave people from the inside out in a matter of seconds.

There is all sorts of electronic harassment out there.

    Just an update.

I got hold of one of these devices suggested by Tram Law which can detect microwaves up to 10 GHz but so far I have detected nothing.

The problem is the harassment only happens at night and usually only after I have fallen asleep.

However I managed to record with a digital recorder the sound produced by the microwave auditory effect (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microwave_auditory_effect). I did this by placing the recorder directly under my chin before falling asleep and the sound that awoke me half an hour later was clearly audible in the recording. The sound I heard in my head was that of a mocking "raspberry" sound, however because of the acoustics all you hear on the recorder is "woody", hollow sound that although clearly audible doesn't actually sound like a "raspberry" at all.

I can only assume that because my skull was actually producing the sound, this caused it to sound "woody" and hollow.

I called the police around to listen to the recording but for their own particular reasons they didn't seem that impressed.

The best way to harass somone is to do it in a way that makes them look crazy..... Just like the best way to get away with something is make it seem so crazy no one would believe it....

That's why people dismiss conspiracy theories - they seem crazy and the people involved know this which is why they get away with it...

People have too much faith in the notion that our government is somehow benevolent and would do nothing to harm it's citizens when reality proves otherwise.

A good example of a government caught behaving badly towards its citizens is COINTELPRO.

Carried out by the FBI in the 50's and 60's COINTELPRO is a documented fact. In COINTELPRO the FBI used a range of dirty tricks against those it deemed "subversive". Even civil rights activists like Martin Luther King were targeted.

If the FBI office in Pennsylvania hadn't been broken into in 1971 by left wing activists and the relevant documents stolen, none of us would ever have heard of COINTELPRO.

    A further update.

As a result of the many complaints I have made to the police regarding electronic harassment they have now informed me that they have conducted a search of a neighbour's premises and found nothing apart from 'a TV in the lounge and a Hi-fi system'.

I am almost certain this search never took place.

Firstly I know for a fact that my neighbour has a TV in his bedroom and a further TV in his lounge based upon casual summertime observation.

Further my neighbour has told me that he collects TV sets and would welcome any spare TV sets that I have.

My neighbour has also told me that he rents out sound equipment to local dance events and keeps this equipment in his home.

So how does this tally with the police reporting that all they had seen was a TV in the lounge and a Hi-fi?

What does the OP claim the motive is about? Why is he being targeted?

I can't go into specific detail in my own case for legal reasons. However victims of stalking and electronic harassment would claim they have got onto the wrong sides of the status quo who are using covert, and technically illegal, methods to neutralize what they consider an unwanted, irritant tendency.

The status quo can happily live with a certain amount of criticism and dissent, however if you rock the boat too much then they can start to take action against you.

Sometimes the reasons for you getting into trouble with the status quo can seem quite petty. This is because the actual number of people running things at the very top is quite limited and such individuals can be prone to idiosyncratic and quite whimsical behaviour. Such patterns of behaviour are widely recognised in overseas nations known to be less than democratic but people never expect the same thing to be happening in their very own country.

The important point to acknowledge here is that if the individuals responsible are ever exposed and what they are doing made public, then at the very least they would be fired or maybe even imprisoned.

Trying to look at the subject rationally, it is difficult to deny that there are some people out there with mental health issues who have picked up on the 'electronic harassment' story as a framework to build their delusional thinking around.

However it would be unscientific to assume that all persons complaining of electronic harassment fit into the exact same category. However this appears to be the position taken by the government.

The electronic harassment I experience personally only occurs at the one locality (i.e. in my own home) and at the same time of day (at night) and the phenomena does not follow me around when I am away. Further aluminium foil shielding removes the problem fairly effectively. I also have sound recordings of some of the harassment taking place and I think the average person would agree that the recorded sounds are suspicious.

So what if the police lied to you, that does not prove they are part of some conspiracy.
They probably just think you are being paranoid and want you to stop bothering them.

I note the best you could say here was 'probably'. Should the police be allowed to tell untruths anyway?

I wasn't particularly impressed either with what the police had to say about the sound recording I made of the electronic harassment. The sound was clearly unusual but the police dismissed it as a 'grunting' sound that I myself had made while sleeping.

I mean how undiscerning do they think I am?

You will need to have another witness with you. Otherwise you are likely to be dismissed as crazy/paranoid. Also maybe you need to get some special detection equipment, preferably that can be recorded. Possibly install some cameras. The burden is on you to show convincing evidence that someone is intentionally doing this to you.

I remember reading accounts of secret police in Soviet occupied territories using these types of harassment tactics against political dissidents, so I'm not saying it's not possible.

The equipment the harassers are using would appear to be hi-tech and state of the art. At present the harassment takes the form of my being awoken after no more than half an hours sleep. This can continue throughout most of the night. It would seem therefore that the equipment they are using can detect your brain state, i.e. whether you are awake or asleep and whether your brain is producing theta waves.

Because of this it is very difficult to operate equipment (and I have plenty) to record such harassment. This is why I have previously used the method of falling asleep with a digital recorder pressed against my chin mentioned in post #11.

Over a ten year period the pattern of harassment and harassment methods have changed but one thing I am certain of is that as time has gone by the harassment has got progressively worse.

This harassment is not cool at all especially when the criminals cannot be brought to justice. I became a victim while working for some digital agency in Cape Town South Africa, Liro Satanic Marketing (fake name). The company makes its money from insurance fraud where they placed a fake job advert then fire the employee only months into the job. Once fired, the poor soul looses all due to gang stalking and is also hit with directed energy weapons.

Rinse and repeat, company makes cash, no need to have a valid or legitimate profitable business.

Electronic harassment is as REAL as neural microchips and nannoids and V-chips but the majority of the SLAVES don't take it seriously because they THINK it hasn't happened to them OR that it won't as long as they PERP for their masters by abetting the surveillance, tracking, and harassment of "governmental targets". Aluminum DOESN'T work because it's in your head, but it's for REAL!

It's not quite "blast" a sound. It's more like the sound of a mosquito--just irritating. For a while, they were selling ringtones for a similar frequency, so teens could hear their cellphones ring, but their parents couldn't.
