About 10 years ago my wife and I went to a high end stereo store because I was interested in a pair of $30,000 speakers. Once inside the store my wife and I split up, she went to the section with the CDs and I went to where the speakers were. My wife overheard two salesmen talking about not wanting to help me because it didn't look like I had "real money." She told me what they said and I took my business someplace else, which is much more difficult than finding a bakery because high end stereo stores aren't on every corner and they don't carry the same manufacturers. Now was I subjected to discrimination? Yes. But did I suffer all the ailments these two ladies did? No. Did I run out and look for a lawyer? No.

And I know you're going to say I'm not in a protected class like that somehow is supposed to make me feel better.

 

Yes, everyone is attacking the poor Christians for their beliefs - oh wait, no, that would be for their actions of discrimination. Religion has been used as a means to discriminate in every civil rights issue we have ever faced - not the belief itself but the action undertaken.
And these types of Christians give true Christians everywhere a bad name.

There is no mention of sexual orientation in Title VII.

Now a few tyrants on the EOO "concluded" that it protects gays even though no actual legal law confirms this.

So basically once the administration turns over and these members are fired ...the real law will either need to be updated or obeyed as it currently stands.

Everyone is discriminated against at some point in their lives, maybe even daily, so these lesbians need to man up and grow a pair. And that Oregon's legal system seems to think these lesbians are unable to cope with having their feelings hurt for a short period of time just goes to show you how little they think of lesbians and their ability to deal with rejection or every day life.

You posted those two websites and within a fast moving thread, I clicked on both links, and it appeared to be older articles. My response was just a few minutes after you posted that.

I then went back and dug a little deeper, to the other link at Slate and the new interview, and saw I was wrong. I said thank you a full three minutes before you went into your ugly tirade.

Because Equal Protection law only applies to select classifications of people. Cops havent been selected in any state while homosexuals have been selected in about 21 stats.

Gay issues tend to bring out the fanitical right for some reason, I know they try to make it religion based but it seems intellectually dishonest as this amount of protest is not seen against over sins that were much more prominent in the Bible.

Hell, had these ladies been carrying a firearm and were denied because they were carrying, the right would be losing their minds to support their second amendment right.
