Well previously the universe was an incredibly small, incredibly dense ball of matter and energy. Before that, we don't know. - - - Updated - - - It comes from matter.
The universe is made up of different forms of energy. The universe did not always exist. If energy in and of itself is eternal, why did it not stay as it always existed?
Did I say energy could not changes forms or turn into matter? Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, that does not mean it cannot change. And your claim that universe did not always exist both has zero evidence and is nonsensical. Matter/energy can be neither created nor destroyed. It must have always existed in one form or another.
I know it can change. But how could pure energy turn into different forms of energy? Wouldn't pure energy exist as it always existed? It either existed in different forms (the universe), or in and of itself.
What "pure energy"? That has zero scientific meaning. Yes, the universe has always existed in various forms. The only constant in the universe is change.
So different forms of energy always existed, yes? All forms of energy that exist today always existed, is that correct?
Let's ignore the problem of all forms of energy always existing for now. The universe IS different forms of energy. How can you say that there was something before the universe (singularity), when different forms of energy (or the universe itself as we know it) always existed?
Yes, because matter and energy cannot be destroyed, only turn into each other. So matter comes from energy and energy comes from matter.
Because "forms of energy" are not a constant. They are in flux. Almost nothing in the universe is stagnant at the subatomic level.
Energy IS. It doesn't come or go, it only changes form. Energy exists in 3 forms, Kinetic, Potential, and Heat. (the father, the son and the spirit?) The sum of the total energy from all 3 forms is constant.
Well hello Dave Junior: Yes Energy exists. I will not debate that issue with you, as it is an accepted thing. However: Your association of Kinetic, Potential, and Heat to be equivalent with "(the father, the son, and the spirit?) is like you pointed out... questionable. I hope you are not attempting to relate that to any scripture found in the Christian 'Bible', as you won't find any reference therein to support such a claim. Of course if you are using Dave's rewrite of the 'Bible' then you might be able to find it on the front cover and every other page. Now that that is over: I see that you have listed three forms of energy. Are you suggesting that there are no other possible types of energy? If yes, then on what basis would you make such a claim? If yes, then why can there not be other types of energy? In reference to the total energy and your claim that it is "constant", does not answer the question of "what is the total amount of energy within the universe?"
Well, tell me what other FORM of energy there is. Other TYPES of energy are subdivisions of those 3 FORMS.
Just for the fun of it, let us go with this one: Etheric Energy. In the old spelling it would have been called Aether. Nikolai Tesla was familiar with the subject and wrote about it in a couple of his journals. http://aetherforce.com/the-defiance-of-nikola-tesla/ List at the bottom of the article.
And disproved by the repeatable Michelson–Morley experiment, as you well know. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelson–Morley_experiment
Well sailboats actually prove wind exists. Take down the sail and ask God to move the boat and see what doesn't happen.
A nonsensical question. Eggs came first. The species we call a chicken hatched from the eggs of a previous chicken-like species.
