Chicago releases dash-cam video of fatal shooting after cop charged with murder

I support the Police Officer against this witch hunt. Chicago has real crimes, that the Lunatic Mayor only made worse. Add to this war on the Police, and Chicago will turn into the next Detroit very soon.

As wrong as shooting him that many times ass, the guy was on PCP with a knife, who as usual wasn't listening to the officer. Ask any officer with experience what a person on PCP can do. The video is the deal. If there was a a lunge, I have no problem at all. Shooting the guy after he's down is another thing. Stay back and wait for backup, UNLESS he gets up. Then shoot him until he doesn't.

Regardless of the outcome, here is ANOTHER case of misplaced outrage. Was it a father driving his kids home in a suit? Some lawyer/doctor stopped for no reason? NOPE!! It was ANOTHER loser causing problems with a weapon ON DRUGS, NOT obeying simple orders, who has probably hurt people and would probably hurt or kill others in the future. Same ol' story. Is our society better off without him, sadly yes. If he didn't die, he'd be rotting in jail anyway, assuming HE LUNGED. That's the kicker. If the video shows it.

I still love the picture of him in the graduation gown. &$*#(@( priceless. Another Trayvon, misrepresentation. THAT crap has got to stop.

 

Man that is messed up, but when you take a knife to a gunfight it never comes out well.

How do they get 1st degree? Officers are trained to empty their guns on any opposing threat. He did exactly as he was trained to do.

 

It is PC and America is a PC nation.

 

Whilst opting to not participating in the calling black people names tangent of the thread, I would venture to say that the overwhelming majority of police officers are kind, decent people who work in a difficult job because they want to make the country a safer place for others.

I don't know the facts in this matter, but I will say in my opinion this is not reflective of police officers as a whole, but rather the age in which we live, where the very occasional bad apple now gets recorded in the act.

I don't see any evidence of that.

There are over a million law enforcement officers in the US on state and local levels.

It appears that this year there will be close to 1,000 fatal shootings by police.

The overwhelming majority of them considered justified.

Statistically, I believe there is not nearly enough evidence to support some theory of white police officers targeting blacks.

 

Are you trying to compare killing of citizens to the police.....we pay theolice to protect us not citizens. Obviousy people kill more people than cops because of numbers

Why are you trying so hard to ignore the fact that 12% of the population account for more than 60% of violent crime? The police response is NOT "profiling" or "harassment". The police response is self preservation.

 

Because 99.999% of them do after an investigation or trial brings out ALL the facts that you choose to ignore.

Do you EVER give any thought to black Cops shooting black people and/or also getting vindicated?

Your amazing survival story just doesn't hit me as even slightly interesting. But, hey, good for you!

 

It's not an amazing survival story, I've just never done pcp and I listen when cops give me orders.
