Warming continues and we will all be suffering the consequences of AGW unless we find solutions and cut emissions. http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-34915448 https://www.wmo.int/media/content/w...est-record-2011-2015-warmest-five-year-period COP21 in Paris next week might be a milestone in human history. The moment where how we tackle this issue will determine the many next decades of global affairs.
Is there any evidence the warming is not just in major cities, but worldwide? It makes sense as energy demands keep growing in urban centers, but the polar ice is still at the same level it always has been. http://www.forbes.com/sites/jamesta...d-nasa-data-polar-ice-not-receding-after-all/
Your title got my attention, although it will be corrected by mods. Have to say I love how global whining is always in the Current Events forum. Fitting.
Whining? Giving the most recent temperature measurements is whining? Sure. Let's stop reporting until we detect cooling then. It is a current event connected to a summit in a week. It could of course be in the News section but is that really relevant to anything?
Read the press release from the World Meteorological Organisation. It answers your questions. If not I am sure you can dig up the answers pretty easily. I would stay away from Forbes on this issue. https://www.wmo.int/media/content/w...est-record-2011-2015-warmest-five-year-period
So years of cutting emissions, job losses, rising costs, sacrifices, and trillions of dollars haven't done anything?
Sounds like you have taken drastic measures to cut emissions? Funny. I had the impression the opposite was the case. Well.... The fact is that the global community needs to do something to avoid drastic changes to our planet now. As far as I have seen the cost of AGW will be astronomical so the question is what you prefer.
