OH ..what a shock. Who would have expected such a thing from our Good Buddy El Saud ! Land of extremist nut jobs.

Bin Ladin was funded by private Saudi donors but also the House of Saud itself. Most of the 911 terrorists were Saudi .. none were from Iraq, Iran or Syria.

The Saud is Stirct Sharia Sunni's .. They crucify teenagers joining in a protest asking for equal rights for Shia.

    http://www.theguardian.com/world/20...tenced-to-crucifixion-begs-obama-to-intervene

The Saud has an agreement that as long as the Salafi extremists in Syria respect the authority of " The house of Saud" they can be as extremist Strict Sharia as they want and Saud will continue to fund them.

Salafi are extremist Sunni - A good portion of those who formed ISIS were Salafi .

The Syrians who are against Strict Sharia, Syrians who want to keep the nation secular as it was under Assad, are those who are fighting for Assad.

Saud, along with the US, Turkey and others ... continue to support the extremist opposition who almost all ( except a few exceptions/moderates which no one can seem to fine) want strict Sharia. Al Qaeda, Al Nusra, Salafi, ISIS, and numerous smaller extremist groups.

Why are we supporting these extremists ? Why are we pretending these nut jobs are our friends. Why are we fighting against the People of Syria who are against these Islamic Extremists ?

This is Rand Paul on the CNN Sunday morning program "State of the Union"

    http://cnnpressroom.blogs.cnn.com/2...-my-son-into-that-mess-on-the-crisis-in-iraq/

    http://www.nytimes.com/2014/08/23/o...-with-saudi-support-for-salafi-hate.html?_r=0

Yeah ... Sure ... that might be a good start ?

We complain about 2 of these extremists shooting some people in a California city while at the same time arming these same extremists with sophisticated weapons so that they can kill people living in cities in Syria.

We are on the side of the extremists, we are arming those who want to implement Strict Sharia in Syria so they can kill people that hate Strict Sharia - people who want secularism and freedom from the extremists.

It is these freedom loving- anti extremism - anti Strict Sharia - Syrians that we are fighting against.

We, along with allies like Saud and Turkey have been arming the same kind of people who committed the Slaughter in San Bernardino so that they can kill freedom loving people in Syria.

Nice ... Great .. makes me real proud.

What does it take for the U.S elites to realize that the biggest threat to freedom and free societies are Sunni radical groups they are clandestinely supporting? It's high time Americans started pressurizing both Democrats and Republicans to cut ties with Saudi Arabia. There is no way terrorism can be defeated as long as the USA tolerates Saudi Arabia and allows them to sponsor terrorism and radical teachings in mosques across the globe. They teach Muslims to hate. And our elites allow them to continue teaching hatred on our own soil. It's ridiculous.

Perhaps not, but none the less it is sometimes necessary.

Their gullibility is almost childlike. As is said in the OP 9/11 was perpetrated by Saudis and that's because Saudi Arabia was/is a 'friend' of America, so Saudi nationals could come and go as they pleased. So they came, and they trained to be pilots to do the deed they came for! [IMG] No wonder they don't like Snowden?

I've not met many armed forces personnel but none of the ones that I have known, my dad included, expressed a positive feeling towards war. I will happily separate out the personnel who sacrifice their comfort and sometimes their lives to fight for an ideal they believe in and I will genuinely thank them for their service.
But that is distinct from thanking war for it's service to humanity in my opinion.

The question here is whether or not it is necessary in this particular case. Is it necessary for the US, along with allies Saud, Turkey and others, to be arming and supporting an extremist Islamic revolution in Syria.

Is it necessary for the US to support the killing of a moderate "SECULAR" People by Strict Sharia extremists ?

Sometimes platitudes cease to make sense when brought into context.

Where is the link ? Read the third link in the OP:

    Saudis Must Stop Exporting Extremism
    http://www.nytimes.com/2014/08/23/op...hate.html?_r=0

Al Qaeda is a Saudi founded and Saudi Funded group. Was before 911 and continues to be. Frick and Frack .. even the royal family was funding Bin Ladin (related to them by marriage) prior to and up to 911.

Since then they are still receiving funding from private SA interests. The House of Saud, was openly funding the Salafi's in Syria which is pretty much the same as Al Qaeda .. same shart .. different name. Same group of people Sunni Extremists with almost identical religious beliefs and agenda. Strict Sharia in every Muslim Land and so on.

I thought Syed Farook was born in the U.S. and his family was originally from Pakistan (?).

From what I've read about his wife, she was Pakistani, too.

If that's the case, shouldn't you be slagging the Pakis and the radical religious sects and groups in that country?

From what I read they were radicalized in the Saud but what difference does it make? The radical extremism in Pakistan is the same as that in the Saud.

Read the OP and click on the links to find out more.

I don't think they are sure yet. There had apparently been some aggravation at work so they think maybe they were thinking of doing something like this and then the aggravation made them decide. Seems more needs to come out. The problems at work apparently were something to do with religion.

People who keep making excuses for Sunni radical Muslims are really danger to public. This tragedy could've be prevented. But neighbours were afraid to say anything because of liberal PC brigade.

according to the BBC she only swore allegiance during the attack. I would be one of those annoying jurists who would like to hear the evidence before I came to my verdict.

Claiming allegiance during the attack when there is also apparently problems with the people who were shot also suggest to me people who may have jumped on the bandwagon of Islamic extremism to make themselves feel better rather than just going on a murderous rampage. However it has also been suggested they may have been planning such an attack and brought it forward because of the trouble at work.

Only the woman pledged her allegiance to IS again apparently during the attack.

Yeah I know, and she stockpiled pipe-bombs and enormous amount of ammunition on the very same morning. As a matter of fact, it's rather normal to have a small bomb factory at home. Get real.

Because declaring allegiance BEFORE the attack would mean she would have been picked up and arrested BEFORE the attack ever occurred.
