At a tv interview Russian prime minister Dimitri Medvedev has responded a question: "We could have declared war against Turkiye but we did not. We had necessary reason to declare war but we did not take that step."

At a live program which was about the economical situation of Russia, Medvedev talked about the situation between Russia and Turkiye. He has said that Turkiye has already created the reason for a war when downing Russian plane. "This is called attacking a foreign state. But we thought that this could be the worst scenario so we did not behave symmetrical like Turkiye and we preferred not to start a war." he added.

Another qustion was about the possible effects at consumer prices in Russia as a result of economical precautions against Turkiye.
He said that there will be a certain increase at these prices but they will not be critical.

Interesting. I wonder what the reaction of the American public would have been on December 8, 1941 if FDR had said the same thing about Japan.... The Russians seem to be playing this whole thing in their usual hard-to-figure-out way... but why?

Moreover, the Russians are very confident that they can prove their case that their warplane did not violate Turkish airspace (for a whole whopping 17 seconds :omg:). They have, in fact, retrieved the plane's black box and are going to unseal it and reveal its contents in the presence of international experts and examiners, as reported here:

Sometimes a proof means nothing but sometimes hundreds of millions do not need any proof. Remember WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION when Bush attacked to Saddam Hussein together with its allies. Do you remember the satellite pictures which Colin Powell have shown to the world?
After everything we all know that there are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
Now how many Americans ask to American government about that?

There are """Russians""" who """do not""" speak Russian in this forum, yet they fly Russian flags, post on their behalf... Let them troll freely around forums, Turkish people all know that we have no problem whatsoever with Russian people, nor Israelis, but morons remain as morons no matter what you do. You can't change their DNA, can you?

Chemical weapons (mustard gas, nerve agents - notably Sarin) were found in Iraq, albeit the reports were kept very, very quiet because ---- to use the politically correct term in use, the discoveries "didn't support the governments invasion rationale". Having "made in the good ol' USA stamped on them you can see how this would've been inconvenient to the lies being told at the time (see HERE).

So why the lie that the invasion was to find weapons of mass destruction?

I'm old fashioned enough to get really p*ssed off when my government tells me bare faced lies, as I don't like being manipulated to suit a secret agenda. But it happens nearly every day now.

One of a small russian fashion company, producing T-Shirts, is going to produce a new T-shirt collection with so called "Anti-turkish signatures". Something like "I don't buy turkish tomatos", "I'm not going to Turkey" and so on.
BUT they can't start because of strike of truckers. The truck, delivering cloth for production T-shirts, got stuck in a traffic-jam caused by strike.
    THE MAIN POINT!
    Are you ready???

The cloth in this truck is from Turkey!!!!

    TOP OF ABSURDITY!
