My statement goes for any Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Sikh, Wiccan, Taoist, Hindu, Jew, Jain, Shinto, New Ager, etc. that takes their religion so seriously that they feel threatened by a non-believer making light of it within the confines of his own property.

 

There's not believing and there's going out of your way to mock what someone else believes.

Not saying the guy doesn't have the right to be an ass on his property..but he's an ass for doing this.

The 10 Commandments are the equivalent to toilet paper to the atheist, therefore stealing does not violate any real moral imperative...only getting caught has consequences because of man-made laws. Ownership itself is purely a human construct and equivalently meaningless as religion...at least in the context of atheism.

Someone ripping off the guys display would prove to be existential karma.

I'll say the same thing now that I said the last time people burned Qurans: I don't like the idea of burning books of any kind, but people who say that books should burn don't bother me nearly as much as books that say people should burn.

 

So would trespassing, theft, and felony behavior be okay in defense of Christian mythology? My neighbor is a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing slob, pure trash, who has had a bunch of old 2x6"s and bricks stacked in his driveway for 6 months. He left his Christmas lights up for an entire year. As much as I dislike it, I don't see how it would be justified to steal his (*)(*)(*)(*).

So, assuming for the moment that the guy is an atheist, the Bible says he is a fool who will burn throughout all of eternity, actively tortured without hope of reprieve in ways that defy his earthly imagination.
