I just wanted to see if anyone on this forum will open this thread or not.
    2 days have passed.
    No one has done that.

Congratulations. Once again forum members have shown how hypocrite they are.
So,when these kind of attacks happen in USA, France, UK...then all the world is on alarm and all news channels broadcast these news, all forums talk about these news. But if it happens in any other country like Turkiye or Iraq or Syria then there is no need to talk about it. Well done. You must be proud of yourselves.

9 German tourists, 1 tourist from Norway and 1 tourist from Peru have died after the attack of a suicide bomber (ISIL member)at the heart of Istanbul (Sultanahmet, which is a well known touristic area in Istanbul).

Turkiye very quickly responded ISIL by making hundreds of heavy artillery shots against ISIL locations in Syria and especially to MENBIC(the hometown of ISIL member)and prime minister Davutoglu has declared that around 200 ISIL members have been neutralised(killed)after these artillery attacks.

Operation Inherent Resolve Spokesman Colonel Steve Warren on has also confirmed these attacks at yeseterday's press meeting.

The Turks are Islamic ***holes. They have allowed Muslims to pour through their borders in invade Europe. They have refused to allow their country over the many years. to allow NATO the right to use their country to bring in supplies to fight Iraqi and ISIS insurgents. Only in the last months has Turkey allowed their bases to be used for NATO airstrikes against ISIS. Turkey also deals in the illegal trade of oil from terror groups in Iraq and Syria.

As for the Tourists killed in Turkey. That's too bad. But for anyone visiting a dangerous ****hole Islamic country like Turkey, "Stupid is as stupid does."

Muslim violence in muslim parts of the globe is rain in seattle to the civilized world.

You must be an idiot and it is very clear that you do not have any information regarding what is going around the world. You mean if people are dyeing in islamic countries then it does not make any sense on you.
NATO bases are open to USA and our allies since the beginning of fight against ISIL. And you must be double idiot for swearing against Turks.
Finally Erdogan can be happy when idiots like you call Turkiye an Islamic country but we are not an Islamic country. We are a secular country which has a population of islamic majority.
USA has already denied the Russian accusations for Turkiye(regarding making illegal oil trade)but if you are also telling that USA is lieing then this means that USA and Turkiye are making illegal oil trade together.
Now go and watch big brother's your country version.
As you say, stupid is as stupid does.

Turkey has long been a freeloading part of NATO, that hasn't hardly lifted a finger to help except during the last year when ISIS blew up in it's face. The last time they did anything of significance was during the Korean War. By its refusal to help in Iran since 2004, groups like ISIS have been able to grow.

I hope our new President Trump or Cruz allows the Kurds to create their own independent state in Northern Iraq and Turkey. At least they would fight.

The only difference this time, see the upset OP, is that Erdogan's stooges are not responsible.

Turkey has lost the Russian tourists, and now it will lose everyone else, so I'm sure it was not Erdogan and the MIT's doing so he could find an excuse to send more troops into Iraq. My grandson loves Istanbul, and it made my daughter upset because she always dreamed of visiting. ..even though we did go many, many decades ago. Now if I was younger, it would have upset me too. My dream would have been to eat my way through Istanbul.

Frankly I don't think that part of the world is going to survive much longer...thanks to Erdogan and his cronies like KSA, Qatar and the US. You're heading for a war you know?

Only a little bit of news came in on this yesterday, and last night the media focus was on the Republican debate.

That said, I looked for new threads last night and didn't see this one listed, so delayed response is not necessarily indicative of lack of caring. Indonesia has been through many stages of hell with this jihad issue and has my sincere sympathy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Turkey been buying most of the oil from Isis? Does Turkey let Isis fighters freely cross back and forth over the Syrian border?

Well, then tell me who saved your beautiful USA's benefits for almost 50 years during the cold war against soviet union? kurds? greeks? germans? france?

Or tell me who saved the asses thousands of american soldiers for post vietnam syndrome after 1st and 2nd gulf war at hospitals in Turkiye?
you are a free and democratical country but most of you are not aware what has happened during that time?

And whenever american soliders needed help in afghanistan,in somali,in any where on this world turkiye did its best honestly. not like european way(seems as if they are supporting but not).

    - - - Updated - - -

it is not correct. these are russian and syrian accusations. turkiye is doing its best not to allow any isis members to pass both sides of its borders.

    - - - Updated - - -

    thank you for being honest.

it is usa who has started all this bull(*)(*)(*)(*).
they wanted to change the map of middle east.
    they started with saddam.
    then qaddafi.
then a few countries in africa.
and now they started all this (*)(*)(*)(*) in syria for esad.
this is the reality. erdogan is a puppet of usa like all other leaders in middle east and most of the leaders in europe.

Washington is using Erdogan's megalomania for its own purposes, and Erdogan foolishly believes he will gain, when he will gain nothing...except maybe a war with Russia, and a country that might cease to exist. It's reminiscent of Saddam Hussein.

I would like to clarify my previous post as it seemed to indicate that we don't care. We do care. The issue is, is that there is so much violence in the middle east carried out by radical muslims that here in the U.S. its become a daily routine. Its not that we don't care, its just that muslim violence, daily muslim violence has become the norm. The only way its ever going to get better is by civilized muslim men standing up and doing something about it. This is probably the one point I have ever agreed with Obama on. The U.S. should not be the spearhead, that onus is on the muslim men in the ME.
With a billion muslims and only a relative handful of radicals I would ask why civilized muslim men are allowing this. Can you give us some insight as to what the muslim men on the street there have to say about this? Are they willing to fight? Unable to fight? or simply afraid to fight? With that many supposedly muslim men against ISIS, ISIS should have been stopped before it started since it hasn't it leads me to believe that many muslims may be sympathetic towards ISIS otherwise ISIS could not exist.

Oh noe? Were you even born on December 27 1985, the date I regard as starting in contemporary wave of Islamist terror attack on Europe?

I'd that date does not ring a bell, go look it up.

    That's hard to disagree with
Unfortunately that is the nature of the internet and of course some people have an attitude of not concerning themselves with what goes on outside of their own countries.
Personally I find that people in real life do try and pay attention to what goes on.
I would be surprised if it was that high.
I think Turkey is trying act cautiously with the Syrian problem. I don't think that IS fighters are being allowed to cross into Syria nor that Turkey is promoting the transport of oil from the IS.

You were talking about Islamic countries. Now you want to say that it's expected in Turkey because it's in Europe? Since you've now changed your parameters, your argument falls flat on it's face. Why is a bombing in Turkey getting less attention than a bombing in France?

No it was YOU who changed the "parameters" by saying this (*)(*)(*)(*) does not happen in Europe. I was talking about Islamic countries.

I give up! Who was it? Surely not Turkey?

Please list the combat actions that Turkish soldiers have been doing between the Korean War and 2014 on the behest of NATO?

I've only seen them doing peace-keeping stuff where they don't have to much if any real combat.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkish_Armed_Forces

Turkey's borders are corrupt and leak badly.

Time to let the Kurds break away and form their own, more productive nation.

I can understand that people are fed up with the Turkish policy of Syria and its consequences. But saying that Turkey is an islamist country and Kurds should get their own state - hoping to see a secular country in the ME is totally BS. For a single islamist Turk, you can find at least a thousand islamist Kurds in the ME. Secular Kurds are a small fraction of the Kurdish people. Vast majority of Islamist sects in Turkey are originated from Kurdish regions and there are so many Kurds in ISIS. Kurds are ---unfortunately- backward people who live in a tribal community like Afghans - Many of their political leaders, Barzani, Talabani etc. are actuallly the leaders of Kurdish middle aged clans so there's no sense of modern democracy in Kurdish population. There are secular westernized Kurds, but that's because of the Turkish educational system again.

On the other hands Turks are the people who are heavily westernized and modernized and most productive. As I say always, only western part of Turkey alone produces the biggest economy in the ME without a single petrodollars thanks to the industrialised regions of western Turkey. Sports, arts, science, anything related to higher civilization, there's a word Turkey can say in the ME.

Islamism in Turkey is another interesting topic we should know. Some Turkish islamists are quite different than your ordinary islamists.
