Parents' right in naming their child

    Not in my world, in America. All names should be permitted, but parents should be held accountable for child endangerment for naming their kids like retards. We live in a country founded by Anglo Saxons, our names should reflect that unless we are immigrants. If you are born in the US you should have a European name, religion aside(exceptions can be made for Jews and Muslims)..

    stupid name, but I 100% agree, the judge was being biased based on her religion, she doesn't have to like a name, it's not her choice

    so in a free country, parents should not be allowed to name their child any name not given the stamp of approval by the government?

    In Denmark you have a list of accepted names you can choose from. If the name you want is not on the list you have to ask permission to name yourself or your child.

    Dude, there are PLENTY of weird "European" names! I went to school with a girl named Siobahn. (Her mother was Guenhwyvar.) My wife works with a guy named Aristotle. A dude I work with had a grandfather named Stanislaw. I recall my brother serving with a guy named Uhl. (Pronounced "yool".) Just admit it: you want everyone to pick from a list of names you approve for their children.

    I fully support any person's right to name their child born today (plus/minus a decade) any stupid name they want. Because when my son and Zippidy bippidy beebop la-a (la dash a) applies for a job.... my normal named son will have a leg up on that social experimently named person

    less competition for my child


    I also support your child getting face tattoos, too. again, thins the competition my son will have to face in the future

    I support everyone else's right to name their children stupid names. It makes for less job market competition for my child in 25 years when he has to compete with Princess Conswailla BananaHammock for that white collar job.

    Depends on the "job"....some white guys don't have the "skills" or "attributes" that a black guy might have.

    Amendment IX

    The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
