G-d's Agenda for the Gay Community?!

Same process for me. But I don't miss it at all. Life is even more precious now that I realized we get to do our little dance here in life for a short time, then we go back to where we were before we were born, back to the Earth. Then it's someone else's turn. Who would want to live forever? That would be terrible when you really think about it.

 

I personally think that it was both funny as well as inspired that Christian Andreason chose to word his impression of us Christians this way:

 

To my knowledege God never had a girlfriend, wife or spouse. He produced a son by artificially inseminating a surrogate mother. From a distance (view of an atheist) that doesn't look like the classic heterosexual family planning. God's own son had 12 male "disciples". If homosexuality is genetic, that would explain it. When I am sitting together with 12 of my male heterosexual friends, "girls" and what to do with them is a quite important point on the agenda. That again doesn't appear to me to be contained in the bible. The Jehova family therefore at least seems to have had some homosexual hobbies. If those were "preferences" I don't know. "Gods agenda" for the gay community therefore most likely will be: invite them on the table, have some wine and talk to them until the end of time. How good that this will not happen to myself.

 

I have came to believe that The Holy Spirit (G-d the Mother) spoke to the Virgin Mary// Maryiam to go and sleep with her husband........ during the engagement period so that the twins, Yeshua - Jesus and Judas Didymus Thomas would be born at a certain time.

The Jewish engagement process of that time period was in many way far more serious than the full fledged wedding process of North American culture............ and the symbolism in Mary / Myriam sleeping with Joseph during that time period was on one level symbolic of the fact that the metaphorical bride...... the church....... needs to have a genuine relationship with the Messiah Yeshua - Jesus even while they are still mere humans, and have not yet been resurrected, given an immortal higher dimensional energetic body.

Yes.... and a film devoid of conflict tends to be boring.

The scenes....... in our lives...… as we take step after step after step...… out of darkness toward light.........… are almost certainly part of a brilliant epic reality film series. (At least that is what I am convinced of after studying NDE accounts for 25 years)!

 

I saw the documentary film "Kumare" a few days ago.

I am beginning to suspect that the ideal "Guru" self image that Mr. Vikram Gandhi created for himself may have far more like Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus actually was than we supposed Christians tend to imagine.

Full fledged Messiah Consciousness would probably make use of the Law of Attraction and fit with the film "The Secret" much better than we tend to think.

 

Didn't you start this identical topic on two threads a week apart, claiming someone's alleged "near death experience" proves something? Actually, that proves exactly nothing.

It also is exorbitantly bizarre on it's face. Of ALL the things a person could ponder and think of, guilt tripping about opposing SSM is bizarre, absurd and totally unbelievable. But if he was a horribly rotten person and terrible bully all his life and now feels sorry for that I suppose that is a good thing regardless of whatever called that revelation.

Maybe the Oregon shooter will have a near death experience coming to regret murdering people because they were Christians. Do you think he represents all people who criticize Christians or Christianity like you apparently do for the anti-gay rights person you cite?

 

I started this discussion on October 30, 2014 but...… if I remember correctly I had originally put it in the Religion and Philosophy section and an Admin moved it to here.......... possibly weeks or months after it had been over there and commented on at least a few times.

I started this other discussion, in this forum but on....... September 23, 2013.

I had Gay friends in church but unless they brought up the subject, I never asked. On the bully scale......… I would score very low......… but once I finally had a better grasp of some of what G-d was probably working out....... I regretted taking so long questioning the source of the NDE of Christian Andreason and how it seemed to contradict the words of Paul and Moses??????????!

I wish I could disagree with you, but what you point out above, largely mirrors my experience in life.

 

Its one thing to assume God exists, another to assume he cares, and yet another to assumes he cares enough to have an agenda, and yet another to assume he cares enough to have an agenda for gays.

Maybe he just cares a little bit now and then, when interest in our affairs peaks, and then he gets bored and moves on to other concerns. Is it his fault we don't keep him enthralled enough that he stays engaged long enough to execute a plan for us? Maybe We are a quilt, he works on for a half an hour, and then throws in the closet, to be picked up a few months later

Pay attention to 'reality':

1. You don't know what God thinks, and infinitely less are able to prove that you do.
2. If you think that people who are NOT like you sexually are 'confused' simply by virtue of being 'different' from you, you are mistaken.
3. The tone of your response/expression leads me to believe (and firmly so), that you harbor a significant amount of irrational animus toward LGBT people. I think that's socially and morally disgusting.

 

No. Gays are harmful. The males, only to them selves. The female ones are the danger though. You leave your children with them every day...

It is difficult to imagine any well informed North American "judge" to be unaware of the potential political trouble that his obviously excessive fine could bring on President Obama.

A fine of a thousand dollars would have gotten the point across but a fine of $135,000 will be perceived by many as a "declaration of war" on Christians by the Gay community and their champion........ President Obama.

Why would a judge do this?

While I was at work yesterday..... I was thinking about a blurb I had seen on a religious TV show where a gifted guy named Kunneman (or something like that) had prayed and asked Messiah Yeshua - Jesus and The Father...... what he thought of the legal victory for Gay Marriage.

The answer that he got back....... surprised him!

I was thinking that this applies to the parable of the good Samaritain.

Could we Christians be the Phraisees and SCribes of modern time?

Could The LGBT community be like the Samaritains.... who the Scribes and Pharisees looked down on?????

But could G-d have a plan in mind to do something off the scale brilliant and artistically valuable through the LGBT community?????

 

I don't know for sure.

But I think that the world is full of all different types of people gay/straight (or someone else) for many reasons. And there are likely things we should be doing in groups and as individuals, to make the best of the lives we're gifted with.

I'm not so attached to the 'Bible' or 'religion' per se... but I've been regarding the Golden Rule in the most serious way(s), the older become.

I left Canada's Liberal Party in December of 2015 and joined Canada's Conservative Party.

Former P. M. Stephen Harper deserves some credit for being something of a Christian Intellectual who managed to steer many passionate members of his party away from interfering in the Gay Marriage question.

I have some ideas in mind on how the LGBT community could cooperate even more effectively with Canada's political parties. I actually made some friends in the Liberal Party while I was there, (2009 - 2015).

If you take a peek at the Canada forum here..... you will find some areas where we might be able to figure something that we can do...... that might just save some lives?!

Reading the Quran
