While I voted Iran, simply because "State Sponsor of Terror" is a well defined term, and the winner is posted prominently on the State Department website, I did not condone bombing them.

I will, however, point out that if being the leading "State Sponsor of Terror" means that we are at war with them (the global war on terror IS something we profess to be engaged in), then releasing their frozen assets, and lifting sanctions on them equates to "aid and comfort to the enemy", in my book. Another term that is well defined.

 

Well, while not necessarily sponsoring terrorism, the US has literally been the cause and fuel for most international terrorist organizations. North Korea hates America. North Korea makes nukes because America has over 4000. ISIS hates America. ISIS gets its weapons from America. So while they aren't necessarily actively funding terrorism, they cause and provide the most supplies to terrorist organizations.

Haha, you're not fooling anyone mate, just admit that you want to offensively take over these regions, with no regard for the local population. Look at Iraq for a good example of what happens when an outside aggressor destabilises a country through occupation and terror.

Iran is irrelevant. Half of their population is under 30, they'll have a democracy within two decades. Rampaging around the world attacking countries whose domestic policies you dislike is an admission of totalitarian world government and domination. The whole point of nation states is that they are sovereign in their local policy. Iran has initiated no act of war.

 

I would agree that the US is a main supplier and funder of terrorism, but to blame it all on Obama is quite ill informed, at least, in my opinion. Granted, Obama was and is not a very effective president, but you can't claim that something was entirely his fault due to the way the American political system works. All the crimes that Stalin committed were entirely his fault because he was a dictator and the head of state. He made all the decisions. However, in America, that is not the case. Because decisions are ultimately made "by the people", any error that America makes must be attributed to the people who made it.

Does dropping bombs on people daily, who you don't even know who they are, in dozens of countries all over the world count as terrorism?

Strong argument to be made that the USA is the leading state sponsor of terrorism.

I find Iranians are very friendly when they want something which is most of the time.

 

They are highly deceptive folk. They harbor a terror lust towards the USA and Israel.

Iran must be liberated of its nukes using 'all necessary means' and a Saudi and US-led transitional government (with Israeli advisors) will be put in.

War reparation costs to the USA, Israel and Saudi will be paid out of Iranian oil revenues, like we did in Iraq.
