It's always possible. That would drive the repub establishment bonkers. Cruz is a very principled and honest man. Trump could do a lot worse. They would make a super team and probably be elected by a landslide.

I dont see it happening. Too much hurt feelings. Trump was very cruel to Cruz.

Its a shame because Cruz would be the one VP whoTrump can actually win with. Anyone else and you can say President Killary.

    Let's hope not.

If Trump wants to get more votes from Independents, he has to have Kasich as VP.

Cruz hit Trump on his history and his own words. In other words, the substantive issues.

Trump is a schoolyard bully who completely destroys the character of his opponents, not just Cruz.

Either Trumpsters have their brains temporarily out of service, they never had one to begin with, or they were never even conservatives in the first place.

    No.

Trump's egomania and general psychology is one that leads to a person who "doesn't reward disloyalty."

Cruz has attacked Trump....so Trump sees him as an "enemy" and "always an enemy."

You know he might not have any choice.

Traditionally, the party nominee chooses their running mate and the party members then vote for that person as VP nominee at the Convention.

    But.

The party doesn't have to. They can insist on putting their own person in as Trumps running mate and basically tell him to suck it up and accept it. In a way this would not surprise me as it would be a way for the regular GOP establishment to get in one last jab at Trump by putting their own guy in

Trump needs to offer Cruz a Supreme Court position for Cruz' endorsement, after Rubio is forced to drop out after Florida.

    Don't tell me about conservatism.

I'm an old school conservative (and member of the Conservative Party of NY State). Today's GOP are Republicans who like to say they are "conservative" but they are far from that.

As it is, Trump is closer to our beliefs than all the others.

I doubt that Cruz would ever be approved by the Democrats. And probably many Republicans.

I think Trump could sell it. He's a master negotiator and deal maker. It's how he made all his money.

Apparently, Christie's got that job in the bag after becoming Trump's obedient lapdog.

I highly doubt it. Trump would be too afraid that Cruz would be out to upstage him. He would be better off with "Anybody but..."

    Nonsense.

The "racist" spin from the Left never ends.

Was Hillary a racist for her loving statements about Robert Byrd after his passing and attending his funeral?

Cruz will be back in the Senate where he belongs. The GOP can't risk losing seats. No senator will be offered the job.

What do you think OBAMA has done in the last 8 years? He is a schoolyard bully who completely destroys the character of his opponents. Maybe you didn't care because he was saying that about Republicans....but that doesn't make Obama any less the narcissistic bully.

Do you not realize that you are describing Obama to a "T"?

    I agree.

Trump is crazy, but he ain't stupid.

I can't even imagine such a thing - VP's are supposed to be supporters and surrogates.

You're talking about a guy who would TANK Trump's agenda just as he has everything he's ever touched.

No, to be coherent with his style, Trump should make a choice breaking with GOP tradition. And since Hillary Clinton will be his competitor for the White House ... a woman would be the best choice.
