Lavrov warned Turkey that if the Syrian Kurds are not invited to the peace meeting that they might not remain a part of Syria, but with the Sultan Erdogan, everything has to be what he wants. This is what he and his followers consider 'strong'. I guess sort of like Hitler and the 'Triumph of the Will'.

"The second round of inter-Syrian talks is underway in Geneva, but Syrian Kurds were not invited. It means that the future of Syria and its society is decided without Kurds. In fact, we are pushed back into a conservative, old-fashioned system which does not fit well with us," Rodi Osman, the head of Syrian Kurdistan's office in Moscow, told RIA Novosti. "In light of this, we see only one solution which is to declare the creation of [Kurdish] federation. It will serve the interests of the Kurds, but also those of Arabs, Turks, Assyrians, Chechens and Turkomans - all parts of Syria's multinational society.

Now this is interesting. Washington who has always pushed for divisions in Syria, and especially for a Kurdistan with a pipeline running from Iraq to the Mediterranean, will not recognize an autonomous Kurdistan in Syria. Is there a secret objective here? What gives?

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States will not recognize a ‘self-rule’ semi-autonomous Kurdish zone in Syria and remains committed to the country’s unity, US Department of State spokesperson Mark Toner told Sputnik on Wednesday.

You know not all Kurds are the same right? There are different groups. And the ones we are specifically talking right now are terrorists and are responsible for several attacks on the Turkish people. Which of course you dismiss as false flag attacks but... Whatever. Only morons and trolls believe that. The Kurds we support are in southern Syria and northern Iraq.

Why is it that the US has to decide who is allowed to live in Syria, shouldn't that be Assad and his people's decision?
And why was Israel allowed to partition off a section from Palestine in 1948 against the will of the Palestinians??
Do the Americans fear the Kurds will, like the Israelis, grab more and more land away from the Syrians and then there is nothing but trouble?

The US doesn't care about the Qatar pipeline or sectioning Syria.. Why are you making that up?

Oct 20, 2015 - Qatar is the largest exporter of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the world, and the country's exports of LNG, crude oil, and petroleum products ...

From what I gather, the Kurds are favored by Washington. I have below a map from 2006 showing how they wanted to partition the Middle East and create a large Kurdistan by taking a chunk of Turkey, Syria and Iraq. There have been a lot of maps since then..some even creating a Sunnistan where ISIS had taken over.

When the Brookings Inst. think tank told Washington that Syria should be partitioned, in order to keep this from happening Lavrov began talking with all the parties involved. What we see now is the culmination of Lavrov's hard work.

Turkey is using every excuse it can to declare the YPG Kurds in Syria a terrorist group, but the US works with them...as does Russia. Turkey's fear is that if the Kurds in Syria declare their independence, then the Kurds living in Turkey in the towns that border them will want to unite with them. It's a legitimite fear, but you can't keep killing Kurds to keep it from happening.

In the following map the green is where the Syrian Kurds were in November. Today they have progressed a lot more. The gap between the two green parts is almost closed, so if the Kurds can grab a little bit more land and reach the Mediterranean, then they can install a pipe line going straight from Iraq to the sea.

It's only logical that Washington would want this, since relations with the Kurds has always been good, and Turkey is untrustworthy.

Getting back to the subject, there is a real war going on in Turkey over the burning of the civilians in Cizre. Turkish soldiers are being killed each day, and the PKK has given them an ultimatum to evacuate the Kurdish towns by April or there will be h*ll to pay. I believe there are over twenty million Kurds throughout Turkey so it's no laughing matter. It's turning into a full scale civil war... thanks to Erdogan's megalomania and his quest for empire.

The PKK doesn't represent all Kurds.

The same place the minority Christians are. When you're a minority in an area you are a minority, accept it.
