Ironic, seeing as US companies such as Google, Amazon and Starbucks have been cheating on paying taxes in the UK.

America could stop trading with China tomorrow and they wouldn't even break their stride:

I see, so his track record means nothing and can be dismissed because you believe his empty promises? Excuse me if I fail to see the sense in jumping off a bridge because precedent shows me that death is the likely outcome.

If you've been waiting on my permission to go after them on taxes, I hereby grant it.

Japan and Germany made fun of us too, thought we were a bunch of playboys. They ended up making stupid decisions which resulted in them getting carpet bombed and nuked.

I would be laughing too, if I didn't actually live here or close to here.

We must look like such complete ignoramuses for even giving a man like Trump the light of day. Honestly, it's hardly any different than if a segment of our population decided to start wearing deer antlers on their heads so they can better pick up the alien radio transmissions.

So did the UK. As long as policing the world won't be an international agency's job (and then again), we'll have to live with that bias.

So according to you would that be an improvement?

Yeah well duh. The US obviously went for a regime change in Iraq to plant a government more economical favorable for them. In order to do that, they removed the government, it's army, the police, law/order in the entire country. And so they deliberately pushed it into chaos where ISIS got born in. And so with that the US is responsible for the rise of ISIS, the 100.000's to even millions of peaceful people who died in the chaos, the millions of peaceful people who fled from their houses. The refugee crisis in Europe. The iffy talks between the EU and Turkey where the Kurds are being massacred because the EU can't address them. And so on.

The world would be much better without this kind of "policing".

If you believe that you are insane or do not understand economics on a large scale. It is not just the fact that they would lose 20% of their trade. That is just the manufacturing and retail goods entering and leaving the country. It is the domino effect of that loss. It would impact every facet of their economy.

Take one factory of wigits. They lose the buyer of their wigits and have to close and fire their employees. This effects the truck company that moves their wigits. The maintenance company that maintains their machines. The suppliers of the materials that go into a wigit. and the taxes from the factory. But wait that is not all what about the employees? They lose their income and cannot contribute to their local economies. Rent does not get paid, gas, groceries, food, luxury items, restaurants and entertainment is not purchased as much or at all. These are all businesses as well and some would also have to close. Which impacts the businesses connected to them.

I tend to think like you, yet I don't believe in a perfect world. We'll have to settle with different problematics, IMO.

Good lord, if that happened, we might just have to produce American goods with American jobs and buy them with American dollars. What could possibly be worse for an American economy? I have reasons for despising Trump but that ain't one of 'em.

 Trump is indeed a testament to how messed up our system is. It's too oligarchic to be a democracy (or a republic, for that matter). The only reason this clown has a chance is because he's in one of the two ruling parties. That's it. We don't elect people based on merit, but rather on party affiliation and, sadly, the perception of being least worst.

That's what the PC libs and the stupid establishment Republican leaders don't understand about Mr. Trump's campaign or his popularity and what the dump Democrats are so frightened of. Mr. Trump knows the score (America is losing thanks to the Obama Administration), and he doesn't give a fig what China thinks of us; or Russia; Turkey; UK; France; Germany; Mexico; Iran; Syria; Iraq; India; Japan; Taiwan; South Korea or any other foreign country that the Obama - Clinton - Kerry trifacta has lowered America's prestige to meet their approval and opinion of us these past seven years. He has concentrated solely on America, her needs, her people's needs, our position militarily and economically in the world, and found it to be severely lacking in substance or accomplishment in everything. Mr. Trump has bet his campaign will resonate with the voters frustrated and fed up with the Washington gridlock, first Democratic than Republican, both supporting a weak, nervous President who doesn't even like America in Obama. He has bet the political future that the voters will "Make America Great Again" instead of the gridlock and special interest politicians in Washington, like Rubio, and Cruz, and in the state's like Kasich and Bush. He has also made sure, and accomplished something no other politician in the country's history since FDR has been able to do. Go directly to the people over the head of Do-Nothing Congresses, and of course, labeled, and correctly so, the mainstream, PC liberal, idiot media for what it has always been - liars, fabricator's and manipulator's, in supporting their favorite's. His candidacy has even got the GOP conservative centrist powers-that-be so scared that they will lose control of the party (they already have), that they are trying to foist two lame candidates in first Bush; than Rubio; than Cruz; than Kasich; than Cruz again - but as the Senator who endorsed Cruz said, he is our candidate, but we know the best one for the job is Kasich. If it actually wasn't being reported daily that the establishment Republican's are looking for a brokered convention (not going to happen), and the voters are suddenly going to vote the despised-in-Washington - Senator Ted Cruz to a record breaking rally to stop Mr. Trump - well - as I wrote - it is so laughable it should be a tv-sitcom. The Chinese, Russians, Iranians and Mexican's are damn sure not laughing; the UK is worried (country that always is worried); and the EU? Well, they don't even want any American influence there anymore, although they will certainly take our troops and money to protect them from the Russians. Mr. Trump is so far ahead, calculation and intelligence-wise, of his opponents, that it is almost silly to keep writing about it. He is the leading candidate to be elected President of the United States, and if the GOP conservatives think they can stop him, than the GOP will disappear as a force for the political narrative in America for at least 20-30 years. Trump knows what he is doing; what he is saying; and the voter's know exactly what he is intending, and totally supporting it, no matter how bad his "optics" happen to be. As for his possible Democratic opponents, Sander's isn't even in the mix, and Clinton, who he would destroy in the debates, has grown old before our eyes, and isn't electable, IMO, besides, she probably will get indicted within the next 60-days on the e-mail security scandal anyways, eliminating her from contention..............

So Trump should stop running just because Chicoms will get their spin doctors involved and make some anti-democracy film? The Chinese set standards on democracy? Maybe in Sweden. In China they also make annual blood sacrifices to Mao on his birthday.

thats actually a valid point. Europe has a vested interest in keeping the US there to pay for its defense just like china and mexico have a vested interest in a docile US which surrenders all its treasures.

Ideally Europe would do what is best for europe while china and mexico do what is best for china and Mexico. What we want to happen is for America to do what is best for America instead of being a colony of europe.
